With the printer powered on, select Setup . Select Device settings . Scroll to the bottom of the menu list and select Reset settings.
The reset key is a single use key and once used cannot be used again. All EPSON printers have inbuilt counters that count up the number of pages a printer produces, the number of head cleans executed and various other attributes. Once a critical level is reached the printer will enter its service mode.
About the difference from a hard reset
Hard resets delete all the registered files, such as the form data saved in the RAM of the printer, but soft resets do not delete them. Cancel printing from the computer. Press [ ] ( Reset). Select [Soft Reset] using [ ] and [ ], and then press [OK].
Checking Firmware in the Device List. Select the [Devices] menu > [Device List]. Click [Device Name] for the printer you want to check the firmware of.
Simply turn the printer off with the power button on the printer. Once turned off, disconnect the printer`s power cord from the back of the printer. Wait approximately 30 seconds before you reconnect it. Once reconnected, use the printer`s power button to turn the printer back on.
Power down the printer and then unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall. Wait for a minute, then plug the printer back in. The printer will reset and turn on.

The yellow triangle on the printer is the alarm lamp of the printer; if it is lit, it indicates that there is an item that needs to be addressed on the printer.

Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II ink dried in printer head.
ANSWER : This video shows how to remove the heads. Ignore his methods of cleaning them as they are really stupid. Best way to clean the heads is to run hot tap water into the screens and then flip it over and run the hot water on the heads. Repeat a few times until the water runs clear. Then dry it thoroughly with a paper towel and reinstall.
