Received a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II from settlement of kin’s estate. Best quess is that it has been over a year since anyone used it. I am sure ink has dried on print head. What would be best way to dissolve old ink, and restore print head so that I can use it to print 13X17 photos?

Best way to clean the heads is to run hot tap water into the screens and then flip it over and run the hot water on the heads. Repeat a few times until the water runs clear.
