The following are the top reasons why paper jams occur:

unsupported paper/media is used. incorrect paper settings in the tray and/or the print driver. paper loaded incorrectly and/or paper edge guides not adjusted properly in the tray. humidity and/or paper condition and storage.

If your paper jams are happening randomly and you can`t identify the cause, it could be that your printer rollers are dirty. Over time, dust and debris can build up on the rollers and cause the rollers to grab onto paper unevenly, which can lead to paper jams.
Laser Phaser Printers

They generate static electricity which draws toner onto the page, creating highly detailed text and images. Every single pixel gets the same amount of light, providing a crisp finish.

A piece of paper stuck in the paper tray or inside the printer can create a paper jam. Paper jams can occur for a variety of reasons, such as overloading the paper tray, loading different thicknesses of paper in the tray, or using paper that isn`t appropriate for your particular printer.
Make sure you don`t overload the tray. A good way to stop the printer becoming jammed, is to fan the paper before you put it in the tray as this will shake out any dust and reduce static, which are two major causes of paper jams. Another way to avoid a printer paper jam is to keep your machine clean.
When a printer resides in a humid environment, the moisture content can distort the paper, making it warped, wavy or curled. This can disrupt the function of the printer and cause paper jams. It can also cause streaks and smudging during the printing process, diminishing the print quality.
A fuser unit is a pair of heated rollers within the printer that fuses the toner onto the paper being printed on. Toner particles are pulled to the paper to create the desired text and images as the paper passes the imaging drum.
Xerox Phaser is the brand name for a line of color and monochrome printers produced and sold by Xerox.
A flanger repeats the audio back onto itself, creating a chorus-like effect. A phaser uses all-pass filters to achieve a delay-like effect. They sound similar, and both are useful—but only in moderation.
Contrary to its name, there is nothing supernatural or spooky about a ghost jam. Instead, ghost jamming refers to an issue whereby the copier reports a paper jam even though there is no paper being physically jammed within the copier. Such an occurrence is also known as a fake jam or a false jam.
Temperature can also impact paper quality, especially for large rolls of paper. If paper is stored in a cold area, then opened the roll in a hot room, condensation can appear on the paper similar to what you would see on a glass of water during the hot summer months.
Warmer temperatures have the opposite effect. The ink becomes thinner, creating unreliable, messy printing. Additionally, the higher temperature ink may cause damage to the cartridge-attached print head, resulting in the need for a new ink cartridge.
The most obvious is most common on laser color printers and can be detected by a flashing message on the printer display screen. Other signs of a bad printer drum include printing blank pages, printing gray pages and strange sounds coming from the printer as it prints.
The drum unit may need replacing if you notice the printer producing blurry, low-quality images. Black or colored toner spots on printouts also indicates a failing drum unit. In some cases, horizontal lines may develop across the printout every time the paper passes the failing part of the drum.
The fuser unit or fuser is a critical part of any laser printer. Using pressure and heat, it fuses the toner powder onto the page to create a print, and without it, the printer cannot operate.
Increasing the temperature too much may distort the paper and cause glossy lines, paper jams, and insufficient toner fusing (hot offset). Depending on the type of paper, you can increase the toner gloss by increasing the temperature by 5 to 10°C over the initial factory setting.
The Xerox Phaser 6510 V4 PCL6 driver will not print multiple copies BUT does allow you to establish 1 Touch presets that designate the tray, size and type of stock needed.
Phasers are a very popular effect for guitarists, and they really started gaining traction during the late 1960s when psychedelic rock was beginning to take a foothold on the cultural consciousness of Americans. The effect was first popularized by guitarists like Jimi Hendrix, Brian May, and Eddie Van Halen.
The guides in the paper tray are there to make sure the stack of paper is exactly where the printer was designed to grab from. If the paper is even slightly askew, the rollers will pick it up a little crooked, and — guess what — the crooked sheet will immediately get jammed.
When using the automatic document feeder (ADF) to copy, scan, or fax, the error message `Paper Jam: The original is jammed in the automatic document feeder (ADF). Open the ADF cover, remove and reload the original, and then try again.
In a computer or data transmission system, a reset clears any pending errors or events and brings a system to normal condition or an initial state, usually in a controlled manner.
The default password will be 1111 on most printers or the serial number of the machine.

Paper Jam error but no paper jam
ANSWER : Obviously you didn’t get all the paper cleared out. There is a small scrap in the paper path causing the jam when the paper hits it. You can try clearing it out by inserting something stiff like a piece of file folder from the back of the printer into the paper path and pushing the offending piece out that way.
