How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

It could be that the paper you are trying to print on is damp. The paper could be of low quality or not the type designed to be used with your specific printer. A printer jam can also occur when you load the paper incorrectly, or when there is dust and static present on the paper.
Small fragments of sticky label material commonly get torn off and stuck within your printer, collecting dust and causing a jam. Shut the printer off, get a flashlight, and try to see inside. Make sure no label fragments have jammed up your printer before proceeding.
The photo tray is overloaded. The paper is curled. The print side, or shiny side, of the paper is not loaded in the tray face down. The paper width guide is too tight against the paper stack.
Low-quality paper leaves an accumulation of tiny paper bits often referred to as “paper dust” inside the machine. This “dust” is one of the top causes of paper jams. More dust means more jams. Besides jams, the dust also contributes to poor-quality prints and causes machine parts to wear at a faster rate.
If your printer keeps jamming, you should know that the most common cause of a jam is misalignment of the paper. Paper needs to load in smoothly, completely flush with the tray. Overfilling the tray is a great way to ensure you will be spending some personal time getting to know the inside of a printer.
Worn or dirty rollers can decrease friction and increase jams. Check the rollers for wear and gently clean them with a mild soap solution. If the paper is fed into the equipment at an angle or skewed in some way, you can end up with crooked folds or paper jams.
Common cardstock printing problems

If your media is too thick it could cause paper jams as the printer won`t be able to handle it. Your printer may only be able to handle cardstock via a specific tray or sometimes a manual feed, using the wrong tray could also cause jams or mis-prints.

This is one of the most common causes of paper jams. Loading paper that is stuck together, frayed, curled or bent can cause a jam. Overloading the paper tray, loading different thicknesses of paper in the tray or using paper that isn`t appropriate for your particular printer can all result in a jammed printer.

Paper Jam error but no paper jam
ANSWER : Obviously you didn’t get all the paper cleared out. There is a small scrap in the paper path causing the jam when the paper hits it. You can try clearing it out by inserting something stiff like a piece of file folder from the back of the printer into the paper path and pushing the offending piece out that way.
