If printing is in progress and you want to continue printing, press the Stop button for at least 5 seconds with the ink cartridge installed. Then printing can continue under the ink out condition. The function for detecting the remaining ink level will be disabled.
On the printer display, select Settings, and then select Preferences. Select your language, and then region from the options provided.
It`s a pretty simple process:
- With the printer turned on, pull out the power cable from the back of the printer.
- Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Plug the power cable into the back of the printer.
- Plug the printer back into the wall outlet.
- Turn the printer back on.
- Run a test print.

Open the Canon IJ Printer Assistant Tool.
Select Auto Power. Select Disable for Auto Power Off.
The Emergency Stop Button stops the machine at the exact moment the button is pressed.

My printer feeds through one piece of paper all the way and then a half piece of paper and stops. I pull out the paper to stop the paper jam and then it prints but sounds rough. After printing, it doesn't feed the paper all the way through.

Canon Pixma iP3000 "Open door" Error code.
ANSWER : Look for a protruding plastic on the top that goes into an indentation. Mine was in the front left side. Put a piece of cardboard into the indentation.and close the door. The top plastic piece is not pushing the door close sensor down and because its too short and the cardboard allows the sensor to be reached and pushed.

ANSWER : Make sure you check that a copy of Gustave Holst’s journey to the stars cassette isn’t stuck in there! haha. That’s what my error 5100 was all about, I was getting ready to dismantle the thing after threatening it with a water boarding.
