A 49 error typically occurs when the printer attempts to perform an action that the firmware is not capable of performing or might not be designed to handle, for example: Printing files that include unsupported printer commands. Interfacing with a third-party solution that was not designed to work with the printer.
In general, a 49 service error is a situation where the printer cannot process a file that has been sent. In some cases the file is corrupted and in other cases the printer`s firmware simply cannot interpret that file.
This is a hardware error generated by the printer firmware and relates to the paper size sensor which would fit with the different thickness of stock. The later 4200 drivers were modified to reduce the error occurring but if you have older firmware and/or older drivers on the PC it would be worth updating.
This error might happen at any time for multiple reasons. The most common causes are due to the printer being asked to perform an action that the firmware is not capable of, and might not have been designed to perform, such as: Printing files with unsupported programming commands.
This error can be caused by having insufficient memory on the device. e.g. multiple apps are installed on the MFP at the same time. Note 💡 It is recommended for the PaperCut partner to do the steps below, as opposed to the end customer, as the MFP will need to be reconfigured with PaperCut Hive and PaperCut MF.
A 49.38. 0C indicates an internal firmware error has occurred. The root cause of this can vary depending on the version of firmware running on the device. Knowing what version your HP LaserJet CP5525 is running would help us in diagnosing the issue.
Most times the 49 error is a firmware error and not a driver error. It is usually casued by a bad print job trying to print and confusing the printer. You need to disconnect the printer from the computer and/or network and turn the power on and see if the printer comes to ready.
Resolution: The F49 is a DC over voltage, this will occur if the battery exceeds(35 VDC) for a 24 Volts and (70 VDC) for a 48 volt system.
Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.
The only permanent solution to the 0x0000011B error is to install the latest Windows Update which fixes the issue. For now, you can try uninstalling the update or disabling the problematic security feature from the Registry. Other workarounds include installing the printer manually.
Error 740 means that it requires elevation to run. Meaning you must run it as administrator. Try right clicking the command prompt and running it as administrator.
Some random crash 49.38. 13 may happen when the BarDIMM Pro is installed in the printer equipped with that firmware and other solutions. The defect is fixed in HP Futuresmart 5.2 firmware. If your HP printer does not have Futuresmart 5.2 available, we recommend you downgrade to Futuresmart 4.11.
This error is primarily caused by a transfer alienation failure in which the ITB is stuck and unable to rotate, the SR9 sensor (the primary transfer roller disengagement sensor) has gone bad or the fuser drive assembly has failed.

The 409 error indicates that there is a delay in updating the status of the printer to our server, and this is not a printer issue. The issue is most likely that the printer is currently running a print, or there is a print job stuck in the queue (even though the printer may not be printing at the moment).
That error code indicates a failure of the yellow laser scanner. Unplug and leave for a few minutes, also make sure you are plugged directly into the wall and not into a surge protector.
The other reasons for the 49.38. 07 error code may include a non-friendly environment for the printer, too much traffic coming into the device, and simultaneous printing jobs. The HP error 49.38. 07 can be fixed by restarting the device and updating the firmware version.
The OC, 0C, or oE error code appears when there is more water in the dishwasher than there should be. This is often very closely related to a drain issue. If you moved the dishwasher recently, make sure the drain hose isn`t kinked or pinched.
Usually when you get the error code 0 , that typically indicates success (as in there was no problems).
When a 49.38. 07 error message is displayed on the control panel, it indicates that there is an exception error in the printer`s firmware.
Turn the printer off, unplug the printer from the network/computer, clear any pending jobs from the print queue (on the computer), then reboot the printer to make the 49 error disappear. Then you can reconnect the network/computer cable and try printing again.
A 49 error can be intermittent or persistent: Intermittent 49 errors – Occur only part of the time with the printer alternating between functioning correctly for a period of time and then not functioning again. These errors are typically cleared by turning the printer off, and then on.
Err 54 – Inverter output voltage
If the battery voltage is getting low and a large load is applied to the AC output the inverter is unable to maintain the proper output voltage. Re-charge the battery or reduce the AC loads to continue operation.
The Error code 49 and data 52e indicates: 1.) 52e Invalid credentials Returned when a valid username is supplied but an invalid password/credential is supplied. If this error is received, it will prevent most other errors from being displayed.

ANSWER : Sometimes turning off and on will allow you to print a few pages. The error is a beam detect error. The only real fix is to replace the laser scanner unit. Could be a loose connector on the scanner or DC controller from the scanner. That’s unlikely. You could try the only other free fix which is to open the scanner assy. and clean all the mirrors inside. The dust could obstruct the laser beam enough to cause the detect error.

ANSWER : Magenta laser error. The spinning motor bearings cause the squeal and that slows it down causing the error. You could try opening it and lubricating the motor shift with a drop of synthetic lubricant. Do not use more than a drop.
