RUN A PAUSE TEST PRINT

Keep the pause button pressed until all the lights flash once. This will load 9999 test print labels into the printer. Release pause and you are ready for troubleshooting. Pause test is the best way to quickly determine if the printer is functioning properly.

Find your printer in your Windows printer folder, select the printer and click Properties. Click the Advanced tab, then click the Printing Defaults button.
If you are using the correct ribbon then the next thing to try is reducing the speed or increasing the temperature of the print head to see if this improves print quality. If the coating of the label material you are printing onto has changed then it could mean the print settings need adjusting to suit.
When a thermal printer is skipping labels, it`s usually because of a simple misalignment of the media sensor or dirt in the media sensor. Try aligning the sensor or blowing it out, and then re-calibrating the printer.
A disconnected cable is one of the most common reasons why a label printer will stop working properly. However, if you find your cables are all plugged in, you`ll then need to check the driver software. If it`s an issue with the driver and the computer not communicating, you`ll simply need to re-install the driver.
To choose a default printer: Select Start > Settings . Go to Devices > Printers & scanners > select a printer > Manage. Then select Set as default.
Step 2: Reset to Factory Defaults

Hold down the forward feed button on the front panel. The indicator light will start a flash sequence: 1, 1-2, 1-2-3, and so on. When it flashes four times, release it. This resets the printer to factory defaults.

If the printer status still shows Offline, log out and log back in. To log out, tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner, then tap the pencil icon next to your name to access the Account Settings page. Scroll down and tap Log Out.
If your printer is displaying as offline, this means your computer is not able to communicate with your printer. 1. Unplug the USB cable from the computer and try to plug it in to a different available USB port.
