Make sure that both your computer and your Lexmark printer are connected to your network. Restart your printer. In some cases, a simple restart can fix the issue. Unplug the printer and check if there is any paper stuck in the machine, and if the toner is installed correctly.

Setup printer and install software

After connecting the printer and turning it on, you`ll need to install the printer`s software and drivers. Every printer should come with the software used to install a printer in Windows or your operating system.

Look in Programs and Features and uninstall any program that correlates to the printer driver to be removed. Open Devices and Printers and if still present, remove the printer driver by right-clicking it and choosing “Remove device.”
Right-click the printer you want to manually enable and click Printer Properties. Under Advanced and Driver, note the name of your printer driver.
