Torn wipers – wiper blades are comprised of plastic with rubber attachments.
Windshield wipers are operated by an electric motor. The electric motor is attached to a worm gear, which transmits the necessary force to a long rod that sets the wiper arms in motion. The worm gear is able to generate the force required to move the wipers as fast as they need to move.

Wiper blades come in countless styles, sizes and variations to suit all drivers and all vehicles. They`re not universal, and it can be difficult to know which ones to buy when replacing your windscreen wipers.

A microprocessor evaluates the signals from the sensor to calculate the speed at which the wipers should move.
