Input voltage 100 to 240 VAC (+/- 10%), 50/60 Hz (+/- 3 Hz).
It has an input range of 100-240 volts and two output voltages – 32 volts and 12 volts.
Yes, Inkjet printers are dual-voltage and supports 100v to 240v. You may only need a compatible cable or adapter for the local power socket type.
Most electrical machines work within the range of 110 volts and 120 volts. Some higher or more advanced electrical machines like multifunction printers or copiers require around 240 volts.
An average ink-jet which is designed for home use will typically use 30 to 50 watts when it is printing, in standby mode most printers will draw around 3 to 5 watts of power. Commercial printers which are used in an office will draw 30 to 50 watts on standby and 300 to 500 watts when printing.
Specifications: Operating voltage : 5V. Recommended/Rated voltage : 3V.
The power consumption of an average inkjet printer is 30 to 50 watts in printing mode and around 3 to 5 watts while on standby mode.
1-1 of 1 Answer

Yes, it works with an input voltage of 100 to 240 VAC (+/-10%).

Most of the charges used in a printer come from the special high voltage power supply and this is transferred to the toner and made to control toner movement using metal and conductive plastic rollers.
You may be wondering why the printer requires an AC and DC power supply. The reason is that the power comes into the printer as Alternating Current (DC power). Most electronics and semiconductors use direct Current (AC power) as a power source. This is the same way a computer power supply works.
How many watts does a Copier use? The average Copier uses 800 watts. Your devices wattage may be different depending on the brand, size, or other factors.
All USB ports are 5 volts DC. The transformer (or computer) will take care of converting the 120/220 AC current to the necessary 5 volts DC. You will not fry anything. The available current can vary though.
HP Inkjet printers are excellent devices for printing documents and pictures from your home and office. Staples carries a wide variety of HP Inkjet printers for all your printing needs, from home printing and photo printing to small business and high-volume professional printing.
A laser printer generally requires a pure sine wave inverter capable of surging at least 6.5 times the maximum wattage rating of the printer. For instance, a laser printer rated at 500 watts requires an inverter with a surge rating of at least 3,250 watts.
1 HP Electric Motor, Voltage: 220 – 240 V, IP Rating: IP55.
Stepper motors are used in a wide range of applications where you have to move something a certain distance precisely! For example, they are used in your inkjet printer for moving the ink cartridge back and forth over the paper. Stepper motors are precise and really cheap compared to the alternative, Servo motors.
Single Phase 3 HP Motor, Voltage: 220 V.
All inkjet printers have semiconductor print heads. These print heads are typically the first thing in a printer that requires replacement, so you want to preserve their life as long as possible. Keeping your printer on all the time will keep your print heads cleaner, making them less likely to break.
How long do inkjet printers last? Here are our recommendations: Generally, the average lifespan of an inkjet printer is around 3-5 years under normal usage. If you use the printer more frequently than average or if you`re using it for a business, you might find the life of your printer is shorter.
When the voltage reading is listed as a range of numbers, like 110V–220V or 100-240V, the device can handle AC voltage outlets from all over the world. This is considered a “dual voltage” or “world-wide voltage” device.
A power source is mandatory for all printers. Before a printer can perform any useful function, it must be turned on.
The power consumption of an average inkjet printer is 30 to 50 watts in printing mode and around 3 to 5 watts while on standby mode.
Inkjet printers can be operated normally with a modified sine wave inverter rated to handle the printers wattage requirement.
For example, even if you plug a 250V cable into a 240V outlet, it will be unsafe. That, as we know, is not the case when plugging 220V into 250V. However, if a 250V appliance operates at 220V, it will receive 12% lower voltage than it typically needs.

Resetting of chip for hp toner Q6000A
ANSWER : HP Color Laser Jet 1600 – Thanks for all the above information. Even though the 1600 is a different printer, I followed the above: “…go to “System Configuration”; then to “Print Quality”; I then get a choice of “Replace Supplies” and then “Overide Out”…” Selecting “Overide Out” got my 1600 back to printing, although I did have do perform the steps TWICE before it seemed to take affect. Not sure what was going on, but I’m happy that people put the information out there for the rest of us to have.
