HP LaserJet P1006

Looks like a bad wiper blade in the toner cartridge. They are rubber and with age. Their function is to clean off residue toner on the drum, similar to a windshield wiper blade cleaning off rain drops.

Black line printing in the middle of the page from top to bottom
ANSWER : Take out the toner cartridge and look at the drum. If you see the line, replace the cartridge. If you don’t, then you need to replace the fuser assembly.
