Store the toner cartridge inside the protective bag or clamshell packaging in which the toner cartridge was originally shipped. If the original packaging is not available, cover the top opening of the toner cartridge with paper and store it in a dark cabinet or dark area with no light sources.
The drum uses static electricity to attract powdered toner to the drums cylinder. The drum rolls the toner onto the paper in the form of your print. The toner is melted & pressed onto the paper by heat from a fuser as it passes through its rollers.
In your photocopier, toner is stuck on larger, positively charged beads and stored inside a toner cartridge. When toner-coated beads are rolled over the drum, the toner particles find the positively charged ions on the unexposed areas on the drum`s surface much more attractive than the weakly charged bead.
How does toner work? Usually stored in a single cartridge, printer toner is a powder-based print medium made from granulated plastics that allows for greater accuracy and control. Toner powder is collected and then transferred to paper by the charged printing drum.
Toner Sensor
These sensors are covered with toner when the cartridge is full, then become exposed over time as you print pages and the toner level declines. When the cartridge reaches a level set by the manufacturer, your low-toner indicator will light.
On your computer, in the Windows Notification Area (bottom-right corner of your Windows desktop), right-click the printer icon. In the printer menu, select the Properties or Preferences option. In the printer settings window, the ink or toner levels are displayed for the currently-installed cartridge(s).
Toner does not have to be used evenly on all of the hair, but it can be. Don`t worry if you make a mistake and get it on the darker strands of your hair; the toner will not affect them. For example, you may want to tone down highlights or your roots. Always apply toner to damp hair so it distributes evenly.
The toner works most noticeably on light hair as it does not lift or permanently alter the color of hair, but rather adds a tone over it. This means that it can help you achieve true platinum blonde hair, silver hair, or any number of different pastel hair colors.
A good rule of thumb is that skincare products should be applied lightest to heaviest (with the exception of SPF, which always comes last). Because of its water-like consistency, toner is meant to be applied immediately after cleanser and before serums, moisturizers, and oils.
Toner images print perfectly to the transfer paper because the printer thinks is a regular textured sheet of paper. It readily takes all of the toner the printer can give.

Much like the quality of petrol you put in your car, the ink and toner you use in your printer will help it run better for longer.
Printers rely on ink or toner to produce images on paper or other media. The biggest difference between ink and toner is probably the fact that each of these works with a different type of printer. Inkjet printers rely on ink while laser printers rely on toner, but the differences don`t stop there.

Expired Toner and Suggestions for Source of Toner
ANSWER : Hi Frank, I had a very similar question two weeks ago, but my “old beloved workhorse” is an HP Laserjet 4L. From the good old days! I too had made bad investments in “new but old truly HP” toner cartridges, hoping to coax more life from my printer. I ended up choosing to try a remanufactured cartridge from www.4inkjets.com. It was a gamble, but the website said they had a 100% satisfaction guarantee. And I can tell you they have lighting fast service. I’ve now printed 50 pages without a flaw. JOY! While the cartridges and technology are different, I suggest you try the same place. And good luck!

ANSWER : That would indicate the fuser is not getting hot. Of course, that should cause an error and shut down the printer. Could be a piece of paper wrapped around the heat roller preventing the transfer of heat to the printed sheet.

ANSWER : You can, but there are good knock-offs and bad ones. I’ve run into ones that come totally empty. Ones that don’t have the chips installed that identify themselves to the printer. Ones that have sat on a shelf for years and fail on installation. I could go on, but I’m sure you get the idea. Toner chip resetter or cheap replacement source
ANSWER : There is a chip resetter if you can find someone who sells it. http://apexmic.info/how-to-reset-chip-dell-1250c.h…Otherwise, do a google search on dell 1250c reset chips. There are lots of suppliers.

Toner cartridge full, printer displays: "empty needs replacing"
ANSWER : I once went to a customer who had a similar issue. They had installed new cartridges and judging from the box, they looked OEM. Strange thing was they felt empty when lifted and they were missing the chip on the outside that tells the printer it is installed and keeps track of how many copies were printed with that cartridge. The printer has no other way of knowing if the cartridge is full or empty.

RESET OKIDATA TONER DRUM
ANSWER : HI there, oki image drums contain a fuse. You can reset them if they are working/printing ok by replacing the fuse. Hope this helps. The fuse is located inside the unit so is a bit fiddly.
