The Spool area full usually translates into `the printer is busy processing a job`. This is usually temporary but if it stays, it could be from a print job that has hung the printer.
The Spool area is both the receiving area for jobs from users on the network (Hold queue) and the waiting area for jobs that will be RIPped.
In the Print window, click Preferences, Properties, or Printer Properties. Click the Paper/Quality tab, and then click Custom. Click New, type a name for the custom paper size, select the width and height, and then click OK to save the paper.
Simultaneous peripheral operations online (spool) has several meanings as used in this book and throughout JES2 documentation. Spooling is a process by which the system manipulates its work.
To spool (which stands for “simultaneous peripheral operations online“) a computer document or task list (or “job”) is to read it in and store it, usually on a hard disk or larger storage medium so that it can be printed or otherwise processed at a more convenient time (for example, when a printer is finished printing …
By default, this folder is C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS . For a busy print server with multiple printers, you may wish to change the default spool folder.
The Print Spooler is software built into the Windows operating system that temporarily stores print jobs in the computer`s memory until the printer is ready to print them.
Start by choosing “File” and then “Print,” and clicking the “Position and Size” settings. Usually, the default option is “Scale to Fit Media,” which prints to the page margins. Deselect it, then manually enter scale, height and width values that equal the full size of your paper. Click “Print” to print your image.
To resolve this issue, change the default paper size of your printer: Click Start, point to Settings, and the click Printers. Right-click the appropriate printer, and then click Properties. Click the Paper tab, and then click the paper size you want to use in the Paper Size box.
A spool is an assembly of pipe and associated components that can be pre-fabricated in the workshop for future installation and then shipped to site for assembling. A pipe spool drawing acts as a guide to plumbers to understand what they are encountering. A pipe is split into different sections, called spools.
In contemporary systems, it is usually used for mediating between a computer application and a slow peripheral, such as a printer. Spooling allows programs to “hand off” work to be done by the peripheral and then proceed to other tasks, or to not begin until input has been transcribed.
Teradata uses Spool Space as a temporary workspace to store intermediate and final result sets. This space is only used temporarily and is released when it is no longer needed or automatically at the end of the session.
The spool fits on a roller, normally on the back of the 3D printer. The ABS /PLA is heated as it is drawn through the print head, which moves side to side. As the print head moves, it lays down a layer. This is slowly built up, producing the final 3D object.

Toner cartridge full, printer displays: "empty needs replacing"
ANSWER : I once went to a customer who had a similar issue. They had installed new cartridges and judging from the box, they looked OEM. Strange thing was they felt empty when lifted and they were missing the chip on the outside that tells the printer it is installed and keeps track of how many copies were printed with that cartridge. The printer has no other way of knowing if the cartridge is full or empty.

Epson 2400 waste ink tank full?
ANSWER : The “waste tank” is actually just a foam sponge cut to fit space under the print head travel. If you’re careful you can get it out with a pair of long ! tweezers, rinse it in water and dry it. It may come out in pieces…assemble them as a template to make a new one or try to buy a new one on- line. Before putting it back in clean the whole region under the head travel as best you can with plenty of paper towels. This is a messy job, so prevention will save a lot of cleanup. Good luck.
