The printhead could be clogged, and you might need to clean the printhead several times to restore print quality. Use an automated tool from the printer control panel to clean the printhead.
Black or yellow ink have not been cleaned off the print head plate, so for a small area of the print, black can be seen in the yellow of the graphic or nozzle check pattern. The basic fix to this problem is to do a print head clean 1 from the main menu of the control panel.
The ink levels may be low and you may need to refill the ink. Visually check the ink levels. Also make sure you filled the tanks with the correct colors of ink. After you print, the colors in your printout need time to set as the ink dries.
Start with checking the ink level in your toner. You can check the Ink Level by touching the ink drop icon on the printer display. Since you have a problem with printing in Yellow color check Yellow or Magenta ink level. If its ink level doesn`t appear, it could be an issue with either Yellow or Magenta cartridges.
Replace any low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer. Dust or paper residue on the rollers or separator pad inside the automatic document feeder (ADF) can result in copy quality issues.
Printing in black and white is possible without color ink, but only on select printers. Switching to a grayscale mode in printer preferences is easy to print without color ink. Buying a black-and-white-only printer is more cost-effective if you print mostly in black and white.
Prints that appear more green are commonly caused by an absence of magenta ink/toner being put to paper by your printer. In addition to your prints looking “greener” you may also notice yellow and blue areas appear almost neon due to the the magenta not being able to give them more realistic tones.
Print a Nozzle Test pattern, if the yellow is orange then you have cross contamination in the Printhead and it might be purgeable, but you would have to print a lot of yellow. Cross contamination happens when some ink oozes out of one printhead and is wicked up into another color.
It`s usually because the printhead inside your printer is clogged or dried out. Like with most printers, Canon printheads can clog due to ink or dust drying up and collecting in the nozzle.
Why is my printer printing yellow not red? It is most likely that your image is yellow where you were expecting it to be red and you may also notice that blue parts of the image appear turquoise instead. Both of these effects are caused by a lack of magenta ink/toner on your prints.
Yellow Printer was a famous racing greyhound during the late 1960s. He is regarded as being the one of the fastest racing greyhounds in history and won Ireland`s ultimate prize, the Irish Greyhound Derby, in addition to being voted the 1968 UK Greyhound of the Year.
If the cartridge is in the wrong position the tube will fill with the wrong color. To resolve this issue you will need to clean the print head. NOTE: It may require 10 to 15 cleanings to clean the ink tubes and print head. During the cleaning process, the ink in the cartridge(s) will be consumed.
Clean the printheads: Sometimes the issue why you are unable to print in color is because our printheads are clogged with ink. Clean the printheads and then print a document to check if color printing works. Some printers also have in-built programs that can clean themselves so remember to check for that.
If the color is still not coming through, let the printer sit for about 10 minutes before running a second cleaning, this allows the ink to soak on the printhead. It might take a couple of cleanings to get a cartridge properly primed, especially if the printer has been sitting for a while.

Print file sent but no printing occurs
ANSWER : Been working on these since they first were released. Never seen a problem like yours. If it happens again, try doing an engine test, as it bypasses the formatter board. The engine test is located at the right side of the manual tray opening. Look for a hole in the side wall. Stick something like a paper clip into it to actuate the test button. It will then print a lined test page. If it does that, then it points to the formatter board as the cause of your problem.

yellow not printing
ANSWER : On my Epson Stylus Photo R285 The yellow is tinted with black but thenormal nozzle cleaning restores a proper yellow. This is fine except the next day the yellow is tainted again, unless I waste more ink doing the nozzle clean again! As these two colours are side by side in the head, does this mean the print head is faulty?

lexmark C544 prints yellow streaks
ANSWER : Are the streaks repeating defects or does it run top-down on the right or left side of the paper ?If you have a vertical yellow shade on the paper, it’s probaly the yellow developer unit which causes the problem. You then can either replace the developer only or (depending on the total number of pages printed, check the statistics !) the complete imaging kit which consists of all four developers and the imaging basket with the Photoconductors. If you see a repeating defect, you should at first print out the print defects page (menue\reports\print defects). Compare the yellow streaks with the printed scales. Above the scales it tells you which component should be changed.

Prints blank pages, won't print from computer
ANSWER : Don’t know why you replaced the fuser, but assuming you had print before, then it must have been something you did during the procedure. Only thing I can suggest is to recheck your work. Just because you reinstalled a connector doesn’t mean that it is seated firmly enough to work. Any flat ribbon connectors that you removed and reinstalled, check to see that the contacts are all flat and not peeled back.

Paper feeds straight through without printing on an Epson R2400
ANSWER : I was able to get it to print the internal test page by holding down the sheet paper feed button while turning the machine on — then continuing to hold the sheet paper feed button. It took several attempts, feeding a page straight through, but eventually it caught the sheet and printed. So it may be a timing issue as others have mentioned. It could still mean that the feed rollers are worn out. The back side of the large D-shaped feed roller has visible abrasion on it. The abrasion is difficult to see as the roller does not stay with the flat side exposed.
