If the paper feed rollers are dirty or paper powder is attached to it, paper may not be fed properly. In this case, clean the paper feed rollers. Cleaning will wear out the paper feed rollers, so perform this only when necessary. Make sure that the power is turned on and remove any paper from the rear tray.
Solution. If the paper feed rollers are dirty or have paper dust on them, the paper may not be fed properly. When this happens, you`ll need to clean the rollers twice: once with paper loaded, and once without.
If roll paper does not feed, cut the end straight across and uncurl it by rolling it backward, if necessary. Then reload the paper. If thick media does not feed, make sure you are loading it straight into the product, not at an angle. If paper jams when you print on both sides of the paper, try loading fewer sheets.
The print head holder will not move unless the power is on. If the ON lamp is not lit, close the print head cover and turn the printer on. While the ON lamp is flashing, the machine is initializing. Wait until the ON lamp stops flashing and remains lit, and then open the print head cover again.
Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with bottled or distilled water, and then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth. Press the cloth against the rollers and rotate them upwards with your fingers.
But for this specific issue, where the printer is reporting a paper jam even though no paper seems to be jammed, I`ve found that 90% of the time there`s one thing to blame: the guides on the paper tray. Any time your printer halts because of a paper jam, check the tray that holds the paper.
Remove the roller cover inside the printer. Pull up on the tabs, then slide the rollers to the left to remove them. Insert the replacement rollers and slide them to the right until they click into place. Replace the roller cover and press down on it until it clicks into place.
Printer rollers get dirty over time, especially if you do a lot of duplex printing. Dirty printer rollers leave smudges and streaks on your prints, and bits of paper can cause your rollers to jam.
In terms of tips for cleaning paint rollers, first scrape the unused paint back into the tin with a putty knife and roll it on a rag to remove excess. Disassemble the roller, rinse with warm water, add detergent and work it into a lather to remove the rest of the paint.
A quality roller should last up to 5 cycles before shedding.
Heated rollers come in sets in a box that you plug into an electric socket and leave for about 10 minutes to warm up. The rollers are usually ceramic and in three sizes – small, medium and large – to create different types of curls, from tight ringlets to bouncy waves.
With a basic calculation, you can determine when your rollers are supposed to be replaced. Nylon rollers, for example, are commonly rated at 10,000 cycles. This type of roller should therefore last six to seven years. If your rollers are near the end of their expected lifespan, it`s time to replace them.

Paper might become wrinkled if it is stacked above the load limit line or if it is loaded at an angle. For the paper drawer, Load paper so that it does not exceed load limit line ( ).

Tray 2 roller.
ANSWER : I don’t know exactly how you went about it, but here’s how to do it. You take the tray out and flip the printer over on its top. That makes access easier. There is a rotating latch on each side of the pickup roller with a pull tab on top. You rotate the left one and slide it onto the drive shaft. Then rotate the right one and slide it off. Then you slide the roller off and you can adjust the arm at that time. Then just reverse the procedure. When you slide the roller back on, wiggle and rotate it until it slides onto the drive shaft. Check the arm function to make sure it is working properly.
