A paper jam has occurred around the front cover.
If the “Paper jam has occurred. Please open the scanner unit and the output tray to check.” message is displayed, a paper jam has occurred near the fuser unit or the image drum. Remove the jammed paper by following the procedure below.

Runtime Error 380 is simply a code that tells you a certain link in the chain is damaged or corrupted, unable to complete the commands that would allow whatever it is you are trying to do to load. 1. Paper Jams. Paper jams are a common problem for printers, resulting in time-consuming and frustrating delays. It can occur when loose sheets of paper get stuck in the rollers or feeding mechanism of the printer.
The first step in any paper jam clearing process is to clear the loading tray. Remove any loose paper sitting in the tray. If you can see any paper obviously caught in the feeding mechanism, slowly and carefully remove the paper one sheet at a time.
Shut the printer off, get a flashlight, and try to see inside. Make sure no label fragments have jammed up your printer before proceeding. You might need to check underneath the printer and shake it out to dislodge any loose paper or other debris that may have gotten stuck inside.

My printer feeds through one piece of paper all the way and then a half piece of paper and stops. I pull out the paper to stop the paper jam and then it prints but sounds rough. After printing, it doesn't feed the paper all the way through.

hp 8600 pro when power on, paper jam message appear but there is no paper jam in the tray
ANSWER : Hp 8180 Photosmart All In One code keeps says paper jam and carriage jam when neither are jammed. I followed all the recommended things to do. I live in Raleigh NC any place to take this or any suggestion.

Epson Workforce 600 won't clear paper jam message
ANSWER : In my case, I have a WorkForce 7620 having this problem too, and there is white post on a sliding plastic bar which is the reason of my sorrow. I cannot move it, and it is getting me so desperate, because it makes the print head get stuck. I try to push it down to get the print head to the right position. Then, when I turn on the printer, the print head cannot move. The bar post don’t go down to free the print head and all I got all the time is an error code 0x69 on the screen. I see no paper jam there. Any suggestion, please?

Paper Jam and carriage jam code when nothing is jammed
ANSWER : Did you try cleaning the encoder strip that runs through the cartridge assy.? Use Window Cleaner on a paper towel. Also, check inside on the right. I’ve seen a lot of times where there is a folded up scrap of paper that stops the carriage from going all the way to the right.

Paper Jam error but no paper jam
ANSWER : Obviously you didn’t get all the paper cleared out. There is a small scrap in the paper path causing the jam when the paper hits it. You can try clearing it out by inserting something stiff like a piece of file folder from the back of the printer into the paper path and pushing the offending piece out that way.

Paper Jam Warning Message Won't Clear
ANSWER : The best thing to try is to cut a file folder to letter size and shove it down the paper path from the back. That clears the jam most of the time.
