How to Identify and Fix Common printer Problems ?

Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced technical support :

When your printer displays a solid red LED light this might indicate the paper failed to pass through the first sensor or paper feed area. Use the steps to resolve paper jams in the tray. Open the paper tray. If jammed paper is visible, gently remove jammed paper.
A blue or green light indicates the printer is operating correctly, while a red light indicates an error has occurred. A system error has occurred.
A paper jam has occurred (see Clearing paper jams).
If there is a line, the print cartridge is most likely your culprit. Replace the defective print cartridge with a new one. Place the print cartridge back in the machine. Print a test document to see if issue is resolved.
A common cause of faded, faint printouts from your inkjet printer is dried ink particles causing a blockage in your printer. The printheads on an ink cartridge can be become blocked if the printer is not used for a period of time, so it is recommended to print a few pages each month to maintain the print quality.
Check Ink and Toner Levels – Samsung

To check the ink levels on a Samsung printer connected to Windows: Open the Control Panel, and locate the printer section. Right-click your Samsung printer icon and select the printer properties option. Your current ink or toner levels will be displayed.

The orange plastic piece holds the ink carriage in place when the printer is first boxed up.
To turn the machine on again, press the (Power/Wake Up) button on the control panel (make sure the main power switch is on). If you run the printer driver or Samsung Easy Printer Manager, the time automatically extends.
Ink or toner: If the printer`s red ink or toner cartridge is low or empty, it may not be able to print red. Check the ink levels and replace the cartridge if necessary. Blocked nozzle: Sometimes, the nozzle that dispenses red ink may become clogged with dried ink or debris, preventing it from printing properly.
If you mix magenta and yellow, you get red.

Boom! Now you`ve got the color red. That`s why your printer–which only has black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink cartridges–can print red…even though there isn`t any red ink.

Streaks and unwanted lines could mean that the printer heads are out of alignment. There`s an alignment tool in the printer`s control panel. If that`s not the issue then the printer is dirty. Printer ink stripes may appear along the edges of the paper, which means there`s ink on the rollers and other parts.
Blinking Red LED —- Indicates [Near end], [Ink end] or [Expiration], ink expiration date is approaching.
Are you wondering why my printer is showing orange light? It indicates firmware issues, paper jams, or improperly installed cartridges. Resolve it by performing a power reset of your printer. Take out the installed cartridges.
