Restart devices

If your printer connects to a Wi-Fi network, disconnect your computer or mobile device from the network name (SSID), and then reconnect it to the same network name your printer is connected to. If the printer is available and has a ready status, the issue is resolved.

Make sure the printer is near the Wi-Fi router, paper is loaded in the main tray, and that it is turned on. On your Windows computer, open Printers & Scanners and delete the printer. Open the HP Smart app, and sign in. If you do not have HP Smart, download it from 123.hp.com or your app store, and create an HP account.
Start by checking your hardware

If you`re using a wired printer, make sure that the printer cable is properly connected from the printer to your PC. For wireless printers, check the wireless connection. Make sure the printer`s wireless option is turned on and available.

1) Open Control Panel in your computer, and view by large icons or small icons. 2) Click Devices and Printers. 3) Find your printer, right click on your printer (sometimes it may display as Unspecified) and select Troubleshoot. 4) Let your computer troubleshoot the issue and follow the on-screen instructions to fix it.
Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer`s USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.
LaserJet printers: Press and hold the Wireless button for 10 seconds or until the Ready light blinks, or go to the Wireless menu and select Wireless Network Test. Laser NS and Neverstop Laser printers: Press and hold the Resume and Wireless buttons for 3 seconds.
Turn the product on while you press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention light turns on. Release the Resume button. The Attention and Ready lights cycle while the product restores factory defaults.
Faulty power cords and connections are an uncommon but possible cause of a printer not turning on. Before suspecting a cord failure, ensure that there is power to the wall outlet and there are no conditions preventing the printer from turning on. Testing by substitution can confirm if a cord connection is the problem.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall. 3) Wait for 30 seconds. 4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector. 5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Error 0x0000011B is a common issue on Windows systems and can have various causes. Here are the most common causes and how to resolve them: Driver conflict: This happens when two drivers access the same resources at the same time. To resolve this issue, check for any conflicting drivers and update or disable them.
Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer`s USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.
Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are correctly inserted into the computer and the printer. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable at both ends. Disconnect the printer and the computer and reconnect them. Try another USB port if available.
