if you have all lights flashing and your inkjet Epson printer reporting a possible paper jam or fatal error but there is no paper jammed in the printer maybe the problem is the light sensor first of all look at the waste ink pad counter to make sure the problem isn`t the waste ink pad try to change all ink cartridges …
Some parts of the printer are broken, or there`s an internal error with the device. You need to restart your printer if you notice the `Resume` light and the Power light blinking together. There`s an improper connection. A flashing `Resume` light can also indicate a paper jam.
An ink cartridge is low. Make sure you have a replacement cartridge.
If the light and the light flash simultaneously, the printer is in a connection error status. Press the [Wi-Fi] button to clear the error, check the following items, and then perform network setup again. Check that the wireless router is turned on.
Projector Lamp is Burnt Out

If the light is flashing red or orange, you need to replace the lamp. If the projector turns on, but the image doesn`t appear, your lamp may be burnt out.

The common causes of “General Error” are: Something in the path of the printhead (like bits of paper or something that`s been dropped in) Incompatible cartridges (Printer can`t/won`t recognise them) Autohead Cleaning & insufficient ink in cartridge(s) [PX/TX700W <-> Artisan 837 models]
A `Paper has Jammed` message and light blinks

Wait while the printer attempts to clear the paper jam. Remove any ejected paper from the front or back of the printer. Open the paper tray cover. Remove any loose photo paper from the paper tray, and then check for and remove any bent, wrinkled, or torn paper.

If your Epson printer is printing out faint images, skipping lines, or is streaking your image with lines, chances are you have a clogged nozzle–a common problem many users have with Epson printers. It`s unavoidable that print heads clog over time as small amounts of ink residue dry up and collect in the nozzles.
A blinking Power light indicates that the product requires maintenance, or is in an error state.
The Wi-Fi lights are usually flashing rapidly when your Wi-Fi is in use. If you don`t have any wireless devices connected to your Wi-Fi network, these lights may be off. Some routers or gateways may also show a solid green or white Wi-Fi light, which indicates that the Wi-Fi is functional.
This is a common issue and can arise in virtually any projector, but this issue is more common in certain models of projectors. The flickering is caused by what is called “arc wander.” The point at which the arc strikes begins to move slightly on the electrode and makes a track that the arc “wanders” along.
If the Error LED is flashing: Check whether paper is jammed. If it is jammed, remove it (Printing stops if the thermal head overheats and resumes automatically when it cools). For other cases, turn the printer off, and after 10 seconds, turn it back on.
Find the button marked Pause/Reset on the row of buttons on the control panel. Press and hold the button down for at least three seconds to clear the print job and reset your printer so you can start printing again. Try printing again. Repeat the process one time if you still experience printer errors.
When the machine is warming up it may peak. This peak enables the machine to print the first page quickly. Sometimes this warm-up peaking will cause lights to flicker as the power is drawn. You may experience similar light flickering if you plugged in a hair dryer or similar appliance into the same electrical outlet.
If the error light is flashing, you cannot clean the print head. Replace the appropriate ink cartridge first. Right-click the printer icon on the taskbar, then select Head Cleaning. Or access the printer software, then click the Utility tab and click the Head Cleaning button.

Epson Stylus Photo R200 – flashing red lights
ANSWER : The R800 will flash the ink and paper lights alternately when the ink pads are assumed to be full from extensive head cleaning. Sometimes, if not always, the head will lock into place on the right side above the ink head cleaning sponges that release ink to the lower ink pads.To correct the problem you need to clean the sponge area, I use cotton swabs. If the head is locked to need to release the carriage lock with a screwdriver. This will require removing the cover, but not necessarily the bottom of the unit. There is a 179 page service manual available for download for $16.50. There are free downloads of this manual, but usually are missing the 100 pages. You can remove the cover by:1. Remove the three screws on the rear housing (One to the left of the power plug, one on the opposite side and one in the lower middle bottom.2. Remove the three screws inside the upper housing (Just under the lid where the hinge is).3. Remove the screw under the left and right side in back below the vents.4. In the back pull the white ribbon closest to you out of the block, do not try to remove the block itself.5. Place a screwdriver into the slot both on the right and lift of the bottom corners on the back to release the hooks that hold the upper unit.6. Lastly, put a screwdriver into the notches on the bottom of the printer located in the front right and left, they are spring loaded.7. Remove cover.8. The head lock release screw is in the right side of the printer and is partially covered by the lower housing. I drilled a half inch hole into the side as to be able to insert a screwdriver. Turn the screw to the left and the head will rise out of the locked position. You only need to turn enough to release the head.9. Clean the sponges and any areas you see with excess ink.10. Place the cover on the unit enough to plug the white ribbon back in and turn the unit on.If the printer lights stop flashing then you are all set.

Epson Stylus C64 in problems, Help!!!!
ANSWER : a lucky tip – if all else fails and you don’t have a PC instead of a Mac, try what I did on my C63. When the head finished moving and both red lights flashed with a “general error’ message, turn off the printer power supply and physically slide the head from its rest position to the far left of the printer. This seems to re-set the “foreign body” trigger. Turn the power back on, the head slowly moves back to the rest position and hey presto the lights have stopped flashing and the printer works! Sounds clumsy but you have nothing to lose trying it, the cost of repair exceeds the value of a 10 year old printer.
