The hard reset helps you restore your Canon printer back to its default factory configuration. Here`s how to perform a hard reset: Step 1: Press and hold the “Stop” button on your Canon printer until you hear the alarm ringing. Step 2: Release the “Start” button only after the alarm flashes or rings at least 19 times.
Make sure printer is turned on. Press and hold Wi-Fi button and release it when POWER lamp flashes 3 times. Make sure POWER lamp changed from flashing to lit.
Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are correctly inserted into the computer and the printer. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable at both ends. Disconnect the printer and the computer and reconnect them. Try another USB port if available.
