In the application, click File > Print, then select your printer. In the Print dialog box, click Printer Properties. On the Printing Options tab, from the Paper list, select the required custom paper size and type. Select any other required options, then click OK.

Letter (216 x 279 mm, 8.5 x 11 in.) Executive (184 x 267 mm, 7.25 x 10.5 in.) A5 (148 x 210 mm, 5.8 x 8.3 in.) A4 (210 x 297 mm, 8.3 x 11.7 in.)
1200 x 600 dpi.
Legal – 215.90 mm x 355.60 mm.
The most popular formats of the traditional sizes are the Letter (8.5 × 11 inches), Legal (8.5 × 14 inches) and Tabloid (11 × 17 inches) formats. You more than likely use these formats in your everyday life. Letter is the standard for business and academic documents.
The sizing of B-series sheets is calculated from the geometric mean of the A-series. For example, a B5 sheet is sized between an A4 and A5 sheet.
A good quality print will require a resolution of 900 x 1260 pixels. For a better-quality print, use 1200 x 1680 pixels. Finally, for the best quality, you should go with 1500 x 2100 pixels.
In many cases, the best resolution for printing is 300 PPI. At 300 pixels per inch (which roughly translates to 300 DPI, or dots per inch, on a printing press), an image will appear sharp and crisp. These are considered to be high resolution, or high-res, images.
For a 4″ x 6″ print, the image resolution should be 640 x 480 pixels minimum. For a 5″ x 7″ print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum. For an 8″ x 10″ print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum. For a 16″ x 20″ print, the image resolution should be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum.
Letter (8.5 x 11 inches), Legal (8.5 x 14 inches), and Tabloid (11 x 17 inches) are the most popular formats of the standard sizes.
A5: 148 mm x 210 mm. (5.83 in. x 8.27 in.)
Default print jobs are formatted to fit an 8.5-inch by 11-inch piece of paper. Depending on what type of document you`re printing and what program you`re using to print it, it may be labeled “Letter.” A4 size paper, on the other hand, is closer to 8.25-inches by 11.75-inches.
The B paper sizes are a bit larger than their A series counterparts and are based on the geometric mean of two consecutive A series sheets. For example, B4 is between A3 and A4 in size, and B5 is between A4 and A5.
A3 paper, which is functionally equivalent to tabloid size paper (11 x 17 paper), is appropriate for bi-fold brochures and other full-size presentation or advertising documents. A4 paper, functionally equivalent to letter size paper (8.5 x 11), is the appropriate paper size for correspondence, records, and invoices.
The B series though not commonly used fall between the standard A sizes, for example B5 will measure between A4 and A5.
The A4 paper size, measuring 21 x 29.7 cm, is the most popular size in the International Standard paper size ISO 216 and is used by most countries across the globe, with the exception of the United States, Canada and some areas of Mexico.
A4 – 21.0 x 29.7cm (8.27 x 11.69″)
You can enlarge and divide a single page image to print it out on multiple sheets of paper. You can make one large poster by joining these printouts together.
With A sized paper, however you double the short edge or half the long edge, it will always have the same width to height ratio. For example, the dimensions of A4 paper are 210x297mm, and half of A4 equals A5, and double A4 equals A3.
Generally, 300 DPI is great for small prints, while 600 DPI is amazing for large prints. If you`re scanning documents or photos to be used on the web or in emails, 300 dpi is more than enough. If you want to print large photos or blow them up to poster size, 600 dpi will give you better results.
Choosing the Right Resolution

Generally speaking, most large-format printers require images to be saved at a minimum of 300 DPI/PPI at their full size in order to achieve optimal results.

The necessary DPI for print work depends on what you`re doing. 300 dpi is sufficient for a simple flyer or business letter. A professional photographer, however, may not want to consider anything below 1200 dpi. If people are not going to view your prints close-up, you can get away with a lower DPI.
For printing, the recommended resolution for all images and art files is 300 dpi. The offset press cannot accurately reproduce resolutions above 300, so it is the industry standard.

Print file sent but no printing occurs
ANSWER : Been working on these since they first were released. Never seen a problem like yours. If it happens again, try doing an engine test, as it bypasses the formatter board. The engine test is located at the right side of the manual tray opening. Look for a hole in the side wall. Stick something like a paper clip into it to actuate the test button. It will then print a lined test page. If it does that, then it points to the formatter board as the cause of your problem.

Prints blank pages, won't print from computer
ANSWER : Don’t know why you replaced the fuser, but assuming you had print before, then it must have been something you did during the procedure. Only thing I can suggest is to recheck your work. Just because you reinstalled a connector doesn’t mean that it is seated firmly enough to work. Any flat ribbon connectors that you removed and reinstalled, check to see that the contacts are all flat and not peeled back.
