Xerox ColorQube 8870
I have two Xerox 8870 Colorqube printers.
Experienced technical support provide their insights in answering this question :
The 8870 I had which had a 97,721.00 error ended up being a split\cracked gear on the shaft that engages the maintenance kit, the :9875 is the printer page count. You can try to rehome the process drive but I would check and see if there is a split gear (where it mounts on shaft) first because the shaft will spin but the gear won’t engage if it’s cracked or split so it throws an error.

This obviously means there is a Printhead Tilt Fault.
059-383 When transitioning from the wait state, the specified temperature is not reached within the specified time. NOTE: This fault may occur when the temperature in the installation environment is low (10 degrees C or lower).
Fault Code 027-779 occurs when the connection to the SMTP Server fails due to Authentication Failure, possibly due to an incorrect login name and/or password. NOTE: The Scan to Email Feature is only available on the Copier/Printer model.
91,721 means Printhead Tilt Fault. I suggest you look for ink spills or obstructions around the printhead, and try to remove as much as possibe, also reboot the printer.
Fault Code 099-395: Fuser Motor Current Failure.
This fault indicates that the yellow drum motor failed to turn. Restart the press. Refer to How To Power Off or Restart the Press. If the fault will not clear and you are XPP trained, replace the yellow drum.
027-779 Authentication fail (after connecting to the server). Advise the customer to check if the authentication information (user name/password) has been set correctly. You may be also interested in below toner and drum chip (CRUM) for Xerox VersaLink C7020, C7025, C7030, C7000.
00: Feed Out Sensor On Jam (Tray 3) Clear the jam in the paper tray. Ensure the paper being used is within specifications for the printer.
Fault Code 018-749 occurs when the printer has encountered an error contacting the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Server, possibly due to a connectivity or authentication issue.
116-722 Color printing prohibited. Output changed to monochrome. 116-723 Color print attempted from a prohibited application.
016-749 means that the printing language (PDL) that the job was sent in is not supported by the printer. This almost certainly means that you don`t have the optional PostScript kit enabled on the machine. You can purchase a PostScript enablement kit or install the available PCL6 Windows driver.
Fault Code 94,700 – Process Drive Error – Broken Transfix Camshaft. Unless you are very comfortable taking it apart and have a Service manual to get deep enough to locate the broken part, and have access to order the part when you find it it may be done for.
Why do you get Ricoh Printer Error Code 91? This error is caused when the auto job function cancels the printing commands. This happens due to a command error. Another reason behind the cropping of this error is when there is a mismatch between the printer`s settings and the printer driver`s settings.

Maintenace kit won't insert — entrance locked
ANSWER : If you shut printer down without the MK in it the Drum Maintenance Camshaft or the Transfix Cam shaft would not be in the proper position to insert the MK. You might be able to manually rotate the shafts without taking things apart so the MK can be installed. Check the gears on those two shafts as well…I had a gear split on Transfix shaft and couldn’t install MK – had to replace shaft and realign gears (not a piece of cake).

Error Code 51.1 says Printer Error No Kidding.lol
ANSWER : Sometimes turning off and on will allow you to print a few pages. The error is a beam detect error. The only real fix is to replace the laser scanner unit. Could be a loose connector on the scanner or DC controller from the scanner. That’s unlikely. You could try the only other free fix which is to open the scanner assy. and clean all the mirrors inside. The dust could obstruct the laser beam enough to cause the detect error.
