Check to make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device. To find out if your printer is connected to Wi-Fi, see if your printer`s built-in menu has options for checking its Wi-Fi connection, or check the printer`s manual for instructions about how to add it to a Wi-Fi network.
Changing the status of the printer:
In the Devices and Printers window right-click or tap and hold on your printer and select See what`s printing. Click or tap the Printer tab, then untick Use Printer Offline from the menu.
Resolution. To resolve this issue, right-click the new print queue in the Printers and Faxes tool, and then clear the Use Printer Offline setting. This resets the registry key to the correct value.

The problem usually has to do with your printer`s Wi-Fi or its connection to your computer. All sorts of issues can arise—your PC and printer aren`t communicating or an incorrect setting may have forced your device to appear offline.
An offline printer is one that cannot communicate with the device sending the print job. Unfortunately, a printer that is offline cannot receive new print jobs and process them, so it`s wise to pause all print jobs until you resolve the issue.
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. On the right, under Related Settings, select Print server properties. On the Drivers tab, check whether your printer is listed. If it is, you`re all set.

If your printer is showing an offline message, it means it`s having a hard time communicating with your computer. There can be several reasons for this, from connectivity issues to a fault with your printer. Whatever the reason, there are several checks you can do to determine which issue you`re facing.
Make sure the USB cable is connected securely at both ends and meets the requirements. Run a printer check. If the test page prints, make sure your software is installed correctly. Make sure the printer cover is closed.
Sometimes power cycling your printer can resolve the issue. Turn off your printer and unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug your printer back in, and then turn the printer back on.
