What`s happening is that the drum or rollers could have a fingerprint or dirt that is smudging the toner on the page as it passes through to the fuser. It is normally caused by the rollers. If the marks are always in different places, then it`s most likely to be the drum.
Pre-punched paper is simply paper that has been punched in a finishing facility before it is packaged and sold to the end user.

What is Punched Paper? Punched paper has a hole, or holes, punched into it in the shape of a circle, oval, or square. The punches can be on the top or on the side of the sheet. Hole punched sheets typically come in 8.5 x 11 or 8.5 x 14 sized sheets.

Most opening punches (whether you`re punching two holes on top or three openings on the side of the page) punch concerning 0.5 inches from the edge of the paper. We recommend measuring your punch or paper to make sure as well as maybe even making the margins just a bit larger.
Dots are typically caused by foreign material inside the machine (for example paper dust, glue from labels or envelopes, paper clips, staples) sticking to or damaging the surface of the drum. Toner builds up on or sticks to these areas on the drum and creates black dots on the printed pages.
A paper feed issue can occur for several reasons, such as dusty or contaminated paper rollers, the condition of the paper in the tray, or even issues with the software. To resolve the issue, try each solution in this document, and then use the steps in this section to print a self-test report.
A hole punch, also known as hole puncher, or paper puncher, is an office tool that is used to create holes in sheets of paper, often for the purpose of collecting the sheets in a binder or folder (such collected sheets are called loose leaves).

Paper Jam error but no paper jam
ANSWER : Obviously you didn’t get all the paper cleared out. There is a small scrap in the paper path causing the jam when the paper hits it. You can try clearing it out by inserting something stiff like a piece of file folder from the back of the printer into the paper path and pushing the offending piece out that way.

Paper jam in tray 2 (but no paper pulled from tray) also M476DN models
ANSWER : Isopropyl alcohol is not recommended for rubber rollers. It dries out the rubber and hasten it’s cracking and breaking. It will do nothing to restore the grip. Those rollers are really hard to replace. It would be easy if that dumbass secondary menu really worked. None of the techs I’ve spoke to ever got into it. Everyone I know sends a print job and listens for the roller to rotate into position where you can pull it off.
