The reset key is a single use key and once used cannot be used again. All EPSON printers have inbuilt counters that count up the number of pages a printer produces, the number of head cleans executed and various other attributes. Once a critical level is reached the printer will enter its service mode.
On HP printers, a “cold reset” causes the printer to return to its factory default settings, which among other things, causes it to try and retrieve its configuration information from a BOOTP server. This is how SAP printers and Athena printers should receive their configuration information.

A cold restart, hard reboot or hard reset can help to get back in to a PC or other device that has completely locked up. A cold restart forces your device to start up from scratch. You will lose any unsaved work, however it may be your only way to recover from some errors.
If your PC or the LCD screen on your printer is telling you that your ink cartridges are full but no ink is passing through to the paper, then it`s most likely that you are dealing with a clogged printhead. Blurry documents and images that appear faded are also signs that it`s time to remove the excess ink.
Verify the ink cartridge(s) is inserted properly. Some cartridges snap in place, and if they are not inserted fully, the printer won`t print anything. If a lever is moved from its original position to allow for installation of ink cartridges, ensure it is returned to its original position.
Select Start , then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners . Scroll down to Related Settings and select Print server properties. Select the Drivers tab, and see if your printer is listed. If it is, you`re all set.

After installing the Print Delivery Station (PDS) the default password is `Password` (without the quotes and is case sensitive).
Android device users should start by holding down the power button on your device for five to seven seconds, which should restart it. If the device hasn`t been charged, there might be a problem with its power cord, adapter, or even the electrical outlet. If the device has power, you may have a problem with the screen.
After the computer restarts, a list of options appears. Select 4 or F4 to start the computer in Safe Mode. If you must use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.
Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode that enables you to use Windows with basic drivers. If you encounter problems in Windows, restarting in Safe Mode allows you to continue working and to troubleshoot the problem. The Safe Mode feature does not install any software.
A phone stuck in safe mode could be due to incompatible apps installed on your device. You can check which apps are causing this by going to Settings > General > Device Management > All Apps and finding any apps with an exclamation mark next to them. To remove these apps, tap Uninstall Updates and then tap Uninstall.
Restart your computer, and then immediately press the F11 key repeatedly. Click Start . Press and hold the Shift key, click Power, and then select Restart while holding the Shift key. Continue holding the Shift key while the computer restarts.
