The Maintenance Kit is a consumable that consists of the maintenance roller and counter. The kit is located in the Maintenance Drawer, labeled as A, behind the printer`s front cover. Detailed, illustrated instructions are included with each new Maintenance Kit.
A maintenance kit is a set of replacement parts for a printer. Each printer has a preset maintenance interval, which occurs after a certain amount of pages are printed. The maintenance interval lets the user know that it`s time to install the maintenance kit so that the parts within the printer do not get overused.
In general, you should update your printer maintenance kit every one to two years.
The default password will be 1111 on most printers or the serial number of the machine. The password on most devices is case sensitive, so if your serial number contains letters, please use the correct case.

Keep your printer clean and dust free
Dust off your printer with a clean soft cloth or by using a mild alcohol cleaning solution. If you don`t use your printer regularly consider covering it with a dust net to prevent dust and dirt getting into it.
Restoring the factory-set defaults returns most of the settings to the factory defaults. It will not reset the page count, tray size, or language.
Wait for 24 hours and then try to log in again making sure to enter the password correctly. Important: The password is case sensitive.
The maintenance box stores surplus ink that gets collected during printing or print head cleaning. When you see a message on the LCD screen, follow the on-screen instructions to replace the maintenance box. Note: When the maintenance box is full, you cannot print or clean the print head until it is replaced.

ANSWER : Your pickup roller is probably worn. To test make the manual feeder letter paper and the cassette legal and then see if it prints ok without jamming from the manual fold down tray. If it works ok, that would confirm the pickup roller is bad.
