Xerox Phaser is the brand name for a line of color and monochrome printers produced and sold by Xerox. Some Phaser printers use Xerox Solid Ink.
250-sheet Tray 1 with automatic paper size sensing supports paper sizes up to 11.7 x 17 in.

With just a few simple steps, your multifunction printer is ready to scan or print directly to or from the cloud. 2 Scan to Email, FTP, Network or somewhere more down to earth — like the integrated front and rear panel USB ports.

They generate static electricity which draws toner onto the page, creating highly detailed text and images. Every single pixel gets the same amount of light, providing a crisp finish.

In a photocopier, the light-induced conductivity of the drum is exploited to create a latent image in the form of electrical charges on the surface of the drum. This image is made visible and transferred to paper using a special, charged toner.

The Color Toner Density (CTD) Sensors measure the optical density of Toner deposited on the Marking Unit during the calibration cycles of the printing process. One sensor is located at each side of the Marking Unit to insure that the density of the Toner is consistent across the belt.
A fuser unit is a pair of heated rollers within the printer that fuses the toner onto the paper being printed on. Toner particles are pulled to the paper to create the desired text and images as the paper passes the imaging drum.
Streamline business even further with five key office functions consolidated in one easy-to-use product. The Xerox® WorkCentre® 3225 multifunction printer builds on the significant functionality of the Xerox® Phaser® 3260 with the addition of copying, scanning, email and faxing.
Unfortunately the Xerox C310 does not have the ability to scan or copy as it is a single function laser printer.
A copier creates new paper copies from an original paper source and can be done without being connected to a computer. A scanner, on the other hand, can create a digital version of an original paper document—and most models require a computer or USB connection.
A flanger repeats the audio back onto itself, creating a chorus-like effect. A phaser uses all-pass filters to achieve a delay-like effect. They sound similar, and both are useful—but only in moderation.
A general purpose thermal roll printer, the ATP is ideal for use with most balances and scales. Designed to be efficient and compact, the printer occupies minimal space on a bench or tabletop. Operation is simple, with an on/off switch, paper feed button and three LED indicators.
Xerox Exclusive Concurrent Multi-tasking Technology—Our products are the most productive in the world. Unlike others` equipment, our machines operate independently and concurrently, allowing you to scan while you`re printing, print while you`re copying, copy while you`re faxing, and more.

Printing papers are either coated or uncoated. Uncoated is nonreflective paper, while coated stocks feature matte or gloss finishes and produce sharper, higher-quality printed images.
Matte. This paper is one of the most frequently used, as it is suitable for all everyday printing tasks. Matte paper is finished with a white coating which helps the ink to dry faster than on other paper types and means it is suitable for a document that is needed quickly.

a copy of a document or other piece of paper with writing or printing on it made by a machine that uses a process similar to that for making photographs: I can give you a Xerox of the letter if you like.

Normal – 52 to 84 gsm (ex: standard copier paper, inkjet paper) Medium – 85 to 105 gsm (ex:slightly heavier than Normal. Good for brochures, advertisements) Heavy – 106 to 220 gsm (index cards, cover stock, posters)
The most popular formats of the traditional sizes are the Letter (8.5 × 11 inches), Legal (8.5 × 14 inches) and Tabloid (11 × 17 inches) formats. You more than likely use these formats in your everyday life. Letter is the standard for business and academic documents.
Within traditional industrial printing applications and newer operations including 3D printing, temperature and humidity sensors are critical to providing quality and accuracy to the end product.
Printers typically have sensors that detect the type of paper being used. These sensors can be optical sensors that detect the size and thickness of the paper, or mechanical sensors that detect the presence of specific features on the paper, such as holes or notches.
The fuser unit is a heated roller that melts the toner particles onto the page as it passes through. This seals the toner to the page so it`s no longer in powder form and makes sure that the toner doesn`t smudge of fall off the paper when it comes out of the printer.

Paper Jam error but no paper jam
ANSWER : Obviously you didn’t get all the paper cleared out. There is a small scrap in the paper path causing the jam when the paper hits it. You can try clearing it out by inserting something stiff like a piece of file folder from the back of the printer into the paper path and pushing the offending piece out that way.

paper drive wont accept paper
ANSWER : There is probably a small scrap of paper stuck at the left edge of the paper path. The paper hits it and skews to the left. The smaller size bypasses it. You need to shove something stiff, like a piece of file folder, down the paper path and attempt to dislodge it.

Paper jam in tray 2 (but no paper pulled from tray) also M476DN models
ANSWER : Isopropyl alcohol is not recommended for rubber rollers. It dries out the rubber and hasten it’s cracking and breaking. It will do nothing to restore the grip. Those rollers are really hard to replace. It would be easy if that dumbass secondary menu really worked. None of the techs I’ve spoke to ever got into it. Everyone I know sends a print job and listens for the roller to rotate into position where you can pull it off.
