How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

There are five main components of an inkjet printer: print head, paper feeder, circuit board, power supply, and the case.
The print head assembly contains a series of nozzles that are used to spray drops of ink. The mechanical operation of the printer is controlled by a small circuit board containing a microprocessor and memory. A typical color ink cartridge. This cartridge has cyan, magenta and yellow inks in separate reservoirs.
What is Deskjet? Deskjet printing is a type of printing where the ink is deposited on paper through a desktop printer. The most common type of deskjet printer uses thermal inkjet technology, which heats small drops of ink and sprays them onto the paper. Deskjet printers can only print on regular paper.
Deskjet is a brand name for inkjet printers manufactured by Hewlett-Packard. These printers range from small domestic to large industrial models, although the largest models in the range have generally been dubbed DesignJet.
The key parts of the printer include, toner cartridges, image drum (also known as drum unit or photo-conductor), transfer roller or belt, fuser unit, laser, and mirrors.
Nozzle plate: the part where ink goes through from ink cartridge to paper. Cover plate: covers the nozzles when they are not in use. Common ink chamber: where ink is transferred from the body before printing. (In piezoelectric printers) piezoelectric substrate: houses the piezoelectric crystal.
The printer`s laser projects your print onto a drum. A drum then uses static electricity to attract the dry toner to the drum`s cylinder. The drum then rolls the toner onto the paper to create your print. The toner powder is melted and pressed onto the paper with heat from the fuser as it goes through a set of rollers.
Just like computers, printers have volatile memory (RAM) that is removed when you turn the printer off. Volatile memory requires power to store the information. Deleting volatile memory is easy: Simply shut down or unplug your printer for a minute or so.
Deskjet, on the other hand, is a brand name given to inkjet printers that are designed by HP (Hewlett-Packard). These models are available in a variety of sizes ranging from compact domestic printers to larger ones for frequent and regular use. Deskjet printers have the ability to print almost three pages in a minute.
What`s the difference between an inkjet printer and a laser printer? An inkjet printer uses ink to print documents, while a laser printer uses a laser to print documents. Pretty simple, right? The different printing processes affect each printer`s speed, functions, and image quality.
HP, also known as Hewlett-Packard, is a home electronics brand that focuses on computer-related products, including printers. They make a diverse range of printers like inkjet or laser, color or monochrome, all-in-one or print-only units, and even portable printers with a built-in rechargeable battery.
The ink or toner cartridges are listed according to where the printer was manufactured. Some printers use more than one cartridge. For example, an HP Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Printer uses an HP 61 Black ink cartridge, as well as an HP 61 Tri-color ink cartridge.
Parts include a primary charge roller or corona wire, photoconductor drum, laser, toner, fuser assembly with rollers, and discharge lamp. It is an electrophotographic process that transfers digital information from a computer to images on paper in the laser printing process.
Some of the features of Deskjets are: they are high-speed, may have wireless connectivity, lightweight, inexpensive, they have a disposable printhead which allows the print quality to be consistent as they can be replaced frequently as needed.

Inkjet printers sprays ink droplets while laser printers melt toner powder onto paper. With this difference in application between the two inkjet and laser printer types, it`s a common belief that smudging is more common with inkjet printers than laser.

smudged parts on printouts
ANSWER : You don’t give enough detail. It’s doubtful the new drums would cause smudging. If it’s just one color, then look at the surface of the drum. It should be visible. If you don’t see it on the drum and it repeats several times on the page, then it would be a worn or dirty surface on the fuser.

Where have the good quality of phone parts?
ANSWER : Dazzling! Remarkable choice of shades!
ANSWER : Best guess would be the paper arm sensor for the Manual Feed tray. It would pop in the center above the opening where the paper feeds in. It dangles down on top of the paper and when there is no paper, it falls down into a recess and blocks the paper sensor above. Without an arm, the sensor would always think there is paper in the tray.
