Ink cartridges are often cheaper than toner cartridges, but may need refilling or replacing more often. A good quality ink cartridge will vastly improve the print quality of your printer. They are less likely to smudge and can take less time to dry compared to laser toner cartridges.
Set defaults for all print jobs: Search Windows for printers , click Printers & scanners, click your printer, and then click Manage. Click Printer Properties, select the Advanced tab, and then click Printing Defaults. Change any settings, and then click OK.

ANSWER : I don’t know what you mean by good toner cartridges. They haven’t been built in about 10 years, so if they are new OEMs in the box, they are guaranteed to fail. The 50 error on that printer is mostly a burned out fuser lamp. This site was sold, so as you can see, there are no more kits available.
