How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Issue description

The printer thinks the output bin on the top of the printer (where the paper rests) is full. If there is no paper on top of the printer where the bin is, the likely cause of the message is that the exit flag is out of position, stuck, or possibly broken.

If one of them is stuck up, broken or dislodged, then a bin full error is displayed. Open rear exit tray and power on the printer. If the printer comes to a Ready state, close rear tray and try printing. Clean the paper path below the toner area and exit assembly at the back of the printer.
If your printer`s status displays “Printer in error state,” there may be a problem with the printer itself. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your PC by Wi-Fi or cable. Check it for low paper or ink, and be sure the cover isn`t open and the paper isn`t jammed.
Remove the paper stack from the standard bin. The printer automatically detects paper removal and resumes printing. If removing the paper does not clear the message, then select Continue on the printer control panel.
The input tray is the tray on the printer that serves as the paper source. The output bin is a bin on the printer where printed jobs are delivered. Users can use the input-tray and output-bin job attributes to specify a tray name, such as 3-hole and a bin name, such as staple .
The Output Bin (or tray) is where the paper sits after it is finished printing. To ensure there is room for additional finished sheets, the device uses a flap or sensor to determine if the output bin must be emptied. Remove any finished prints from the output bin.
Printed paper is output to the output tray on the top of the printer with the printed side facing down. Before printing paper, open the output tray to output the printed paper. Keep the output tray closed when the printer is not used.
Volatile memory requires power to store the information. Deleting volatile memory is easy: Simply shut down or unplug your printer for a minute or so. Most printers also have non-volatile memory (a hard drive) that is stored until you physically delete it.
Sometimes the “Android storage space running out but it`s not” issue is caused by the overwhelming amount of data stored on your phone`s internal memory. If you have many apps on your Android device and use them simultaneously, cache memory on your phone can be blocked, which leads to Android insufficient storage.
Solution. Open the tray for more than one second, verify that paper is loaded, and then close the tray. This should eliminate the “Tray Empty” message so the printer can resume printing.

Paper Output Jam error
ANSWER : Printer jams happen when the paper encouraging through the printer goes amiss. Infrequently the printer overlooks the issue, officers ahead, and expels a folded mess into the yield plate; on different events, the printer stops in mid job, and the folded mess- – or a portion of it- – stays caught some place inside the machine.

Error Code 51.1 says Printer Error No Kidding.lol
ANSWER : Sometimes turning off and on will allow you to print a few pages. The error is a beam detect error. The only real fix is to replace the laser scanner unit. Could be a loose connector on the scanner or DC controller from the scanner. That’s unlikely. You could try the only other free fix which is to open the scanner assy. and clean all the mirrors inside. The dust could obstruct the laser beam enough to cause the detect error.

HP 5550dn Printer – Standard Output Full
ANSWER : The sponge on the output bin flap wears away, exposing the sticky part underneath. causing the flap to stick in the up position, making the printer think that the output bin has paper in it. The solution was to remove all the sponge, and place a small strip of tape over the sticky part of the plastic flap so that it wouldn’t stick in the up position. Works great now.
