Check that the same IP address is set for the machine and the machine`s port setting on the computer. Check that the IP address is not duplicated by another device. Check that the correct IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address are set. If using OKI LPR Utility, check the IP address setting with OKI LPR Utility.

To do this: 1 Press and release SEL (1) to take the printer off-line. The SEL light goes out. 2 Press and hold SHIFT (2), then press the RESET/CHARACTER PITCH key.

The password is the same as the “administrator password” on the operator panel. The factory default administrator password is “999999”. If the administrator password is changed, enter the updated password.

Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.

Do a hard reset on your printer. To do this you just need to turn off your printer, unplug for a few minutes and then plug the printer again. If that still doesn`t work, try turning the printer and your computer off, and then start it back up again. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling your printer driver.

Open the printer`s web page and Sign in as Administrator. On the General tab select Reset Factory Settings in the menu.

Default passwords are intended to be placeholders and used only for the initial setup of hardware or after a factory reset. The user enters the password and is usually prompted to change it as part of the process, but not always. Examples of default passwords include admin, password and guest.

The administrator`s user name is “admin”. You can change the administrator password on the device`s web page or on the operator panel.

Printer Administrator. Users in this role have full access to manage all aspects of printers in Universal Print. Printer Technician. Users in this role can register and un-register printers and set printer status.

You`ve seen these tiny buttons before on cell phones, phone chargers, etc. This is your reset button, and the only way to get in there is either with a paper clip or the tip of a pen (which will leave a tiny ink smudge on the button).

The printer drops the network connection, resets its network settings to their factory defaults, and prints a Printer Configuration label and a Network Configuration label.
