Check that the same IP address is set for the machine and the machine`s port setting on the computer. Check that the IP address is not duplicated by another device. Check that the correct IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address are set. If using OKI LPR Utility, check the IP address setting with OKI LPR Utility.
1: Check Printer Power, Cables, and Paper
Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.
A Printer Failure. There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP. error message displays on the printer control panel, and the printer does not print.
Select Start , then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners . Scroll down to Related Settings and select Print server properties. Select the Drivers tab, and see if your printer is listed. If it is, you`re all set.
The print spooler is an executable file that manages the printing process. Management of printing involves retrieving the location of the correct printer driver, loading that driver, spooling high-level function calls into a print job, scheduling the print job for printing, and so on.
It`s handy for connection and communication problems. Use the printer troubleshooter. The Windows printer troubleshooter can be a great help for any issues that are `non-physical`. It won`t help with paper jams or leaking ink, but it can solve problems with communication between your printer and computer.
Printer Blocked. Issue: This indicates the printer is unable to print due to a blockage. This may mean the paper roll was installed incorrectly or the paper lid is not in the proper place.
Reinstall the printer driver. The machine is offline. Right-click the printer icon to open “Printer folder”, and then select [See print jobs]. In the dialog, select the [Printer] menu and then clear the check of [Use Printer Offline].
