How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced technical support :

1. Causes of Multiple Sheet Feed. Multiple pages being fed through the printer overlapping or in a stack occurs when the media fails to separate correctly in the tray. Common causes are issues with the print media, incorrectly adjusted paper trays and worn or contaminated feed or separator rollers.
If your printer is continuously feeding blank sheets of paper (meaning that it will just keep spitting out blank sheets without stopping, even when you power it off and back on) you probably have a sticking pickup solenoid.
On your PC search control panel, open control panel, Select printer properties, Select the “number of copies” it must be set to 2 change it to 1 and check if it helps. If the issue still persists uninstall the printer software from your PC and install the latest printer drivers.
Right Click on the Printer Icon in “Devices & Printers, then click on “Device Settings”, scroll down to “Installable Options” and then disable “Mopier Mode”.
When your printer can`t print the full document and is skipping some pages, you need to check your printer first. Make sure your printer is securely connected to your PC. The ink isn`t running out and the ink cartridges are not clogged. There`s enough paper in the paper tray.
There are numerous possible causes for a printer that`s randomly producing blanks. The most common ones are empty ink cartridges, improper cartridge installation, and congested nozzles. Driver and software issues can sometimes cause this problem as well. Running out of ink?
When a new cartridge is installed it prints the calibration test page to check that it is aligned properly. With many HP printers you need to then scan the test page, so the printer can set itself up correctly.
Misfeeds occur frequently. The number of sheets loaded exceeds the capacity of the printer. Load paper only as high as the upper limit markings on the side fences of the paper tray, or the markings on the paper guides of the bypass tray.
If multiple pages feed at once, remove the paper, fan the edges to separate the sheets, and reload it. If multiple pages continue to feed at once, turn on the Paper Feed Assist Mode setting in the Setup > System Administration > Printer Settings menu. Do not load more than the recommended number of sheets.
