You will need to change this setting for any stationery that is not standard letter size (8.5 x 11).
Open the Devices and Printers folder, right-click the HP printer, and then select Properties. Click the Device Settings tab. In the Installable Options section, set Printer Status Notification to either Enable or Disable. Click OK.

Set-off can occur if an ink doesn`t dry quickly enough, if the substrate isn`t absorbant enough (leaving a thick film of wet ink on the top of the substrate), or if the paper is cold (which slows the drying process).
Click the Printer icon in the toolbar. In the Page Handling area of the Print dialog box, make sure that Auto-Rotate and Center is selected. (This option is selected by default.) Click OK or Print.
A printer`s heads, nozzles, and other components can become dirty or clogged, which could show up as white lines running across your page. Your printer may have a head-cleaning feature available through your device software located on your computer or from the control panel on the printer itself.
If you have never gone through this process before, you may be wondering, “What is a printhead alignment?” In a nutshell, a printhead alignment synchronizes the paper feed with the movement of the printhead, ensuring you get the best print quality possible.
In the Devices and Printers window, select your printer and click on Printing Preferences. Click on Maintenance in the window that opens. Click on Print Head Alignment to launch the dialogue box. Follow the instructions to complete the alignment.
