How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?
Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced technical support :
Tap Settings > Hardware > Printers > Create Printer Station. Enter a printer station name. Tap Printer then select printer. Click Connect AirPrint printer and choose your printer.
Check the printer connection status: Make sure the wireless signal is on, and the printer is connected to the same network as your computer or mobile device. If your printer has a light next to a Wireless icon or button , make sure the light is on. If it is off or blinks the printer is disconnected from the network.
Confirm that your printer supports AirPrint. Contact your printer`s manufacturer for details. Make sure that your iPhone or iPad and your printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and that you`re within range.
The common reasons for this issue are various, for instance, the paper input tray is overloaded, dust or moisture can affect the paper feed or paper pick rollers, the printer driver is old, etc. Thus, the printer cannot detect the paper that has been inserted into the tray.
Check the paper rollers and clean any particles of dust or dirt if you continue getting error messages indicating there is no paper in the printer. Make sure the stack of papers isn`t crumpled or bowed. Remove the stack of papers and replace the tray. Replace the paper and take it out again.
Use AirPrint to print wirelessly to an AirPrint-enabled printer from apps such as Mail, Photos, and Safari. Many apps available on the App Store also support AirPrint. iPhone and the printer must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
To print from an iPhone or iPad with a printer that can`t connect wirelessly, you`ll have to use a piece of hardware as the go-between. You`ll need a USB cable and a USB OTG (on-the-go) adapter that connects your iPhone to the USB cable.
Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.
The easiest way to see if your printer has AirPrint installed on it is to check with Apple. Apple makes this easy by having an Apple Support webpage that lists all current AirPrint devices.

`No AirPrint Printers Found` is a system message generated by the iOS AirPrint feature. It means you are trying to print a document from another applications using the Print button. iOS does not allow Printer Pro to be launched this way.

ANSWER : After Windows 98, Canon stopped supporting the BJC 70/80/85 series. Drivers were available for W98 and earlier, but now these are no longer carried on the Canon website. I now have my BJC 70 & 80 working, not only on a virtual machine running WinXP but also on the host which runs W8.1.In the case of Win XP it seems that a 3rd party driver was used, but I am mystified as to how it got onto the W8.1 machine, because I have a vivid recollection that the BJC managed to auto-install itself as soon as it was plugged into the USB port without any action by myself. I never expected it to work with Win8.1. I was resigned to using it only with the Virtual copy of WinXP, which meant that the printer needed to be connected only AFTER the virtual machine was booted. Now my little Bubble-Jets are accessible both from both the virtual client and the host. The most likely explanation is that I did actually find and download a 3rd party driver for Win8.1 and that I have had amnesia.
