At the printer control panel, press the Home button. Touch Device > About. The IP address appears in the Network section of the About screen for Wired IPv4 Address or Wired IPv6 Address. Record the IP address from the display.
At the printer control panel, press the Home button. Touch Device. Touch Information Pages. Touch System Configuration, then touch Print.
The address is the name of the computer and then the name of the printer. For example, with a network named hope and a printer named hp, the network path would be: \\hope\hp.
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & scanners . Make sure your printer is turned on and connected. Then select the Add device (or Refresh) button. Please wait a moment while Windows searches for the printers that are connected to the device (locally or wirelessly).
From your computer or network-connected device (on the same network as the printer) open a Web browser. In the Web browser address field, enter the IP address of your printer and then press Enter. The Embedded Web Server home page will be displayed. Click on the Log In button at the top, right of the page.
At your computer, open the Control Panel, then select Devices and Printers > Add a Printer. Click The printer that I want isn`t listed, then click Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.
In the Event Viewer window, use the left pane to navigate to Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > PrintService. Double-click the Operational log to view your print history. In the middle pane, you`ll see entries for various printer events.
Printer logs enable you to keep track of print jobs on your business`s printer. If, for example, you find a 100-page print job of a personal nature on your office`s printer, you can find the culprit by looking at the printer log.
A print server is a software application, network device or computer that manages print requests and makes printer queue status information available to end users and network administrators. Print servers are used in both large enterprise and small or home office (SOHO) networks.
What Is Printer Mapping? Printer mapping or print mapping is the process of assigning appropriate network printers to users, no matter where these users are located or what device they are working with. The challenges of printer mapping vary and depend on the environment and usage scenario.
In the Devices and Printers window click on Add a printer. Choose “Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings”, then click Next. Select Create a new port and choose Standard TCP/IP Port, then click Next. Under Hostname or IP address: Type in the IP address of the printer you intend to connect to.
To change your printer IP address, type its current IP address into the address bar of a web browser. Then go to the Settings or Network page and change your printer`s network to a static/manual IP address. Finally, type in the new IP address.

Print file sent but no printing occurs
ANSWER : Been working on these since they first were released. Never seen a problem like yours. If it happens again, try doing an engine test, as it bypasses the formatter board. The engine test is located at the right side of the manual tray opening. Look for a hole in the side wall. Stick something like a paper clip into it to actuate the test button. It will then print a lined test page. If it does that, then it points to the formatter board as the cause of your problem.
