It indicates that the used ink counter must be reset and that your absorber pads must be replaced. Changing the ink pads alone will not solve the problem. It is necessary to use a software to do the reset. This software is only accessible by Canon authorized service centers.
Press and hold the “Power” button and reconnect the power cord. When the printer comes on, release the button. Wait five seconds and push the “Power” button again. This resets the printer`s internal memory and overrides the “Ink Absorber Full” error code.

The message Ink Absorber Full is an indication that the machines internal ink absorbers are almost full. These ink absorbers are used to hold ink after it has been purged from the print head during the print head cleaning cycles. They can hold enough ink to last the normal expected life of the machine.
The error “Ink Absorber Full” means that the internal ink absorber or flushing box will need to be replaced. The need to replace these items and the time period before replacement is dependent on the number of purges and flushes required to clean the ink system.
First, try rebooting your computer and turning your scanner off for a few minutes, then back on. Doing this corrects more computer and device issues than you may expect. Besides turning the scanner off, disconnect the power cord – this causes a more complete hardware reset.
The Canon Printer Error Code E05 indicates that the ink cartridge is not installed properly. There are several ways to fix this error, including checking the ink cartridge for damage and making sure it is properly seated in the printer. You can also try cleaning the contacts on the ink cartridge and printer.
Phenomenon. In rare cases, error 70*1 or error 80*1 may repeatedly display on some EOS 70D digital SLR cameras due to an internal communication failure resulting from the structure of the electrical printed circuit board.
If your Canon printer isn`t recognising a compatible ink cartridge, this may be because the data on the cartridge chip is stamped with an empty status before it was remanufactured. Hold down the stop / cancel button for 5 seconds to bypass the `ink has run out` message and your cartridge should work.
If there is plenty of ink and the printer does not print, clean the Print Head then print the nozzle check pattern to ensure ink is ejected properly. If the problem is not resolved after performing Print Head Cleaning twice, carry out the Print Head Deep Cleaning.
With the printer powered on, select Setup . Select Device settings . Scroll to the bottom of the menu list and select Reset settings.
Open the Canon IJ Printer Assistant Tool. Make sure that the printer is on, and click Remaining Ink Notification Settings. Select the ink color and click Reset to reset the remaining ink level counter. When you reset the remaining ink level count, you must refill the ink tank to the upper limit line.

Epson 2400 waste ink tank full?
ANSWER : The “waste tank” is actually just a foam sponge cut to fit space under the print head travel. If you’re careful you can get it out with a pair of long ! tweezers, rinse it in water and dry it. It may come out in pieces…assemble them as a template to make a new one or try to buy a new one on- line. Before putting it back in clean the whole region under the head travel as best you can with plenty of paper towels. This is a messy job, so prevention will save a lot of cleanup. Good luck.

HP deskjet 460 Waste ink tank full
ANSWER : I worked fixing printers for 5 years for Verizon and some of the older printers were notorious for the waste receptacle filling and overflowing with ink. My solution was good old warm water. Remove the waste container and scoop out as much as you can with a small screwdriver, wiping the discard on a paper towel, then just run warm water from the faucet into the container till all the residue is removed. This is just water soluble ink folks, if you want to test it, scoop out a glob and dissolve it in warm water, its easy as pie. I never once bought a new ink discard reservoir. I just cleaned out my mobile 460 printer reservoir by the same method. There are no electrical connections its just all plastic.

waste ink tank
ANSWER : There is no waste ink “tank”. There are some sponges and they usually are about 1/4 saturated when you get the message. If you want to go through the trouble to remove them, you can just wash them in hot water and dry them out as the ink is water soluble. Or, you can search the web for a waste tank reset procedure and not worry about it.
