If your printouts have incorrect colors, try these solutions: Make sure the paper type setting matches the paper you loaded. Make sure the Black/Grayscale or Grayscale setting is not selected in your printer software. Run a nozzle check to see if any of the print head nozzles are clogged.
Ways to check if Black Only is enabled
Navigate to Settings > Print > Quality > Print Mode and check whether it is set to “Black and White” then change it to “Color”. Navigate to Settings > Device > Maintenance > Configuration Menu > Print Configuration > Black Only Mode. Make sure this option is unchecked.
This could be due to low ink levels, a clogged print nozzle, or some other hardware issue. If you did replace the color ink cartridge and are still having the problem, you should have a print nozzle cleaning function that came with the printer software or driver.
If the problem is isolated to one color, set the printer to Disable Cartridge Check and swap cartridges. If the problem disappears, the old cartridge was obviously bad. If the problem persists, something associated with the cartridge is to blame: its high voltage contact, high voltage circuit, or laser scanner.
The way colours are displayed on a computer monitor is by emitting light through combinations of red, green and blue LEDs (RGB). However, in digital print (eg. a desktop printer or commercial digital press) we generally see colours through light passing through dots of cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink (CMYK).
Replace any low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer. Dust or paper residue on the rollers or separator pad inside the automatic document feeder (ADF) can result in copy quality issues.
png files can only be saved with RGB (Red, Green, Blue) colour profile which is basically for on screen images only. Printing out an RGB profile may cause difference in colours since printers are calibrated to use CMYK. For the best quality in resolution and colours we would still recommend using CMYK images.
Check you have the latest drivers installed for your printer, try uninstalling and reinstalling your printer drivers or try changing the driver settings (adjusting the paper settings has been known to solve the problem). Fully Reconfigure the Printer – If all else fails, you can try entirely reconfiguring your printer.
If your printer is having issues printing black ink, the black ink might be low, and the printer might be running in backup mode. Check estimated ink levels to see if any ink cartridges are critically low or empty.
Why is RGB not ideal for Printing & Packaging? In most printing processes, RGB color space is usually converted to CMYK before creating the artwork. Essentially, any colors produced with RGB on the digital space will not create the same output on the physical print.
Color laser printers use colored toner (dry ink), typically cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK). While monochrome printers only use one laser scanner assembly, color printers often have two or more, often one for each of the four colors.
If you are outputting to an inkjet, laser, or large-format printer, images should remain in RGB.
Simply put, CMYK is the color mode intended for printing with ink, such as business card designs. RGB is the color mode intended for screen displays. The more color added in CMYK mode, the darker the result. The more color added to RGB, the lighter the result.

Metamerism occurs when two colors match under some light sources and don`t match under others. This is because the components used to make the colors have different spectral curves.
The reason that onscreen colors look different offscreen is because some colors onscreen cannot be reproduced with CMYK printing. These colors are called “out of gamut.” Example colors are metallics and fluorescents.
As you mentioned you have issues printing in yellow color from your printer. The printhead could be clogged, and you might need to clean the printhead several times to restore print quality. Use an automated tool from the printer control panel to clean the printhead.
Presses print with four process colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK). Printers can create almost all colors by mixing these four inks on the press in varying ratios.
While PNG can be high resolution, it has no support for the CMYK color space.
This usually happens if print options or preferences are changed for your printer. To choose print options, you need to open the picture that you want to print. Most print options are located in the Print dialog box, which you can access from the File menu in the program that you`re using.
Clean the printheads: Sometimes the issue why you are unable to print in color is because our printheads are clogged with ink. Clean the printheads and then print a document to check if color printing works. Some printers also have in-built programs that can clean themselves so remember to check for that.
Open your printer driver`s Properties dialog (see above) and look for a color option that uses black only. Uncheck it or select an option that enables color. Some color printers have different resolutions for color and black-and-white (usually higher resolution in black-and-white).
Kindly go to Start > Settings > Update and Security > Troubleshoot > Printer > select Run Troubleshooter. You may also check the print settings to ensure that the option for black and white/grayscale is not selected.
