If your printer`s status displays “Printer in error state,” there may be a problem with the printer itself. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your PC by Wi-Fi or cable. Check it for low paper or ink, and be sure the cover isn`t open and the paper isn`t jammed.
Make sure that both your computer and your Lexmark printer are connected to your network. Restart your printer. In some cases, a simple restart can fix the issue. Unplug the printer and check if there is any paper stuck in the machine, and if the toner is installed correctly.
Run the printer troubleshooter
Windows 10 also features a built-in troubleshooter that allows you to quickly fix general print-related issues. To run it, simply go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshooter > run the Printer troubleshooter. Additionally, you can also run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
Turn off your printer and unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug your printer back in, and then turn the printer back on.
Check that the printer has its wireless connection switched on. Ensure your iOS device is not in AirPlane mode. Ensure all devices are on the same network. Check that both the iPhone/iPad and printer are running the latest software.
You can also see printers` names in your Windows system. Check them by opening Control panel > View devices and printers > Printers (Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers).
Place the smart chip against the pins on the reset device. A red light will flash to show you that the chip is engaged. When the light turns green, usually six or seven seconds later, the cartridge chip is reset and ready to use.
The good news is that pretty much any printer purchased within the last four to five years – or any printer that you`ve successfully used with Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 – should be compatible with Windows 10.
Will My Printer Work With Windows 11 ? Yes, your printer should work with no issues at all. According to Microsoft, Windows 11 is based on the solid foundations of Windows 10 software, so your current printer(s) should all work as normal.
Add your Bluetooth printer to your printer list: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Printers & Scanners in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax button on the right, then click the Default button . Select the printer in the Printers list, then click Add.
