Lexmark E260 Drum reset procedure
Install the toner cartridge into the new/re-manufactured drum unit. With the front door still open, Press and hold the “X” Button for 5 seconds. On the E260 the lights will cycle. Close the front door.
For best performance, use 75-g/m2 (20-lb) bond grain long paper. For paper smaller than 182 x 257 mm (7.2 x 10.1 inches), it is recommended to use 90 g/m2 (24 lb) or heavier paper. Note: Two-sided printing is supported only for 60–90-g/m2 (16–24-lb) bond paper.
The factory default paper type for the multipurpose feeder is Custom Type 6.

It has several different names, it`s also called the imaging unit, drum unit or photoreceptor drum. For a drum to transfer the text and toner to the page, it first receives a positive charge from the corona wire. A laser writes over the drum and leaves a negative charge where the text and/or images will appear.
The toner cartridge contains several components including the color pigment used to create letters and images. The imaging drum is the unit that transfers the toner to paper by following the principles of electrophotography. Not all laser printer models require both toner cartridge and imaging drums.

Printing on 10% = 240 pages. Printing on 20% = 120 pages. Printing on 40% = 60 pages. Printing on 80% = 30 pages.
Place the smart chip against the pins on the reset device. A red light will flash to show you that the chip is engaged. When the light turns green, usually six or seven seconds later, the cartridge chip is reset and ready to use.
Until the print head wears out you can continue to recycle your empty cartridges. Generally, you can expect to refill your empty OEM cartridge between 2-6 times.
DO NOT reuse the waste toner box. DO NOT put the waste toner box into a fire. It could explode. Be careful not to spill the toner.
However, almost all ink and toner cartridges can be recycled and reused, allowing business to prevent waste and save money at the same time.

Most printing paper has a gsm between 60 and 120. 80gsm is standard. Anything from 160gsm is considered card.
Glossy is probably the most common types of paper finish for printing photos. You can choose different levels of gloss from standard to high gloss. The shiny finish which is caused by the coating helps show up details in the picture.
