Most consumer-grades printers have very little storage memory, and that`s typically volatile memory. To wipe out the memory, unplug the printer and let it sit for a while before re-plugging it in. The data will likely be gone.
To stop high RAM usage, start small by quitting programs you aren`t using, restarting your computer, uninstalling unneeded programs, and scanning for any malware that may be on your device. If this doesn`t work, consider downloading a RAM cleaning software or even installing more RAM.
In Windows, search for and open Control Panel. Click Devices and Printers. For each printer icon that represents the name of your HP printer, right-click the icon, and then click Remove Device or Uninstall device.
It helps them store documents, fonts, and other resources which can be used for future printing tasks. Without memory, printers would need to download the same file or font each time it`s used in a document. This means that every single print job requires access to the cloud or computer itself.
The print history queue displays. Items in your print history expire 30 days after they arrive. If you download, share, or reprint a file, the file remains in the print history for another 30 days. Click the All Printers drop-down arrow, and then click the name of the printer to view a specific printer`s print history.
HP printers generally come with an internal memory capacity ranging from 2 MB to 32 MB. The printer uses this memory to store print jobs and information such as the number of pages in a document, paper type, paper size, and fonts.
If many processes run simultaneously, it may cause high RAM usage problems. You need to check if any unwanted programs have been installed on your computer recently or if many unnecessary programs are running in your computer`s background that consumes many RAM resources. Close open programs.
The printer driver is usually located on the C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository folder on a Windows machine.
Do one of the following: Windows 10: Right-click and select Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers. Right-click your product name and select Printer properties.
“Out of Memory” means the machine`s storage capacity is full. The amount of memory used depends on the amount or type of data on the documents being copied, faxes, or printed from a computer.

What repair needs to be done for a "50 needs repair" message on an HP Laserjet IIIP?
ANSWER : I don’t know what you mean by good toner cartridges. They haven’t been built in about 10 years, so if they are new OEMs in the box, they are guaranteed to fail. The 50 error on that printer is mostly a burned out fuser lamp. This site was sold, so as you can see, there are no more kits available.
