During a print job, the ink cartridge carriage stalls in the printer, and a Carriage Jam or E3 error displays on the printer control panel. Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.
The error E8 means “The product has experienced a fatal error from which it cannot recover.” You can try to fix this issue by turning off the product or disconnect the power cord from the product. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn on the product or reconnect the power cord to the product.
This error refers to the laser/scanner assembly located below the top cover which writes the image to the drum of the toner cartridge. The assembly needs to be repaired or replaced.
Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.

Er/35 displays, the Toner Reload indicator blinks quickly, and an Alert triangle displays on the Toner Level indicator. Debris in the toner reload port is preventing the printer from connecting to the Toner Reload Kit. Remove the Toner Reload Kit, clear any debris from the reload port, and then reinsert the kit.
Er/07 or Er/28 displays, the Attention light blinks, and the Imaging Drum light is on. The imaging drum is incorrectly installed, the toner has settled, or the sensors are covered by tape.
“E-3” in the display means a meter or a test strip error has occurred. In rare cases, an “E-3” message may indicate that your blood glucose is extremely high and above the system`s measuring range. In addition, the message could appear if the cap on the test strip container was not closed tightly.
Operating system error 3 (The system cannot find the path specified). Assuming the full path and file name are correct and actually exist, this error is caused by SQL Server being unable to either access or write to the specified path. This lack of permission can itself have one or more root causes.

When a 30.03. 30 error appears on the control panel, it indicates that there is an issue with the scanner. Turn off the printer. Turn the printer back on, and verify that the scanner moves.
23 or 30.03. 45 Scanner Errors. The resolution for either error is to, if preferred to send a firmware update, then replace the flatbed scanner assembly. It has been found that it is in most cases the internal lamp that has failed, but is not available through HP as a replaceable part.
When a 50.22. 00 or a 50.22. 11 error displays on the control panel, it indicates an issue with the fuser warming up. Step 1: Turn the printer off, and then on.
