Class 3 lasers have between 1 and 500 mW. This group is referred to as therapeutic `cold` lasers and come with `eye caution to eye danger`. Class 4 lasers have more than 500 mW and are referred to as `hot` lasers.

Classes 3B and 4 lasers are distinguished by power levels with Class 3B being those up to 500mW and Class 4 being greater than 500mW. Both are powerful enough to present potential hazard: Class 3B mainly to the eye and Class 4 to skin and tissue as well as the eye.

ANSWER : I haven’t seen that particular behavior on that model. It either works or it doesn’t. My first choice would be the power supply.

ANSWER : I’m having a similar issue, checked you resolution and found the little grey piece seems to be in place and able to rock back and forth. When I send a job to the printer it sounds like it is trying to pick up the paper then I get the ‘Jam 0’ error. Any ideas ?

Print Quality Issue (Streaks and Ghosting)
ANSWER : Streaks are mostly caused by internal drum wiper blades that clean left over toner off the drum to prepare it for a new image. Ghosting is caused by a leftover image on the drum. The 6 inches that you mention would be the circumference of the part that is causing it. Fusers will never cause either problem.

paper jam
ANSWER : If you remove the fuser (2 screws), look to the left and you’ll see a gear on a metal bracket. That’s the coupling gear. It drives the fuser. You’ll see that it is yellow with teeth missing. You’ll need to replace it. You have to take the formatter assy. to the left of it off, and then there are a few screws holding it in place.
