How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Restart the printer and try again. Unplug the printer from an outlet. You can plug it back in again to see if it works this time. Check if the printer is properly set up or connected to your computer`s system.
Check the printer connection status: Make sure the wireless signal is on, and the printer is connected to the same network as your computer or mobile device. If your printer has a light next to a Wireless icon or button , make sure the light is on. If it is off or blinks the printer is disconnected from the network.
Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are correctly inserted into the computer and the printer. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable at both ends. Disconnect the printer and the computer and reconnect them. Try another USB port if available.
Wi-Fi printers

Go to the Start menu and click Settings, Devices, then Printers & scanners. Select Add a printer or scanner and wait for your printer to appear in the list, then select it and hit Add device. If Windows doesn`t find your printer, select The printer that I want isn`t listed and follow the instructions.

This could happen if there are no updated drivers for the printer. I would suggest you to visit manufactures` website ad install the latest printer drivers compatible for Windows 7. Method 2: To find devices that are connected to your computer but aren`t listed in Devices and Printers, look in Device Manager.

How to find a printer`s IP address (Windows 10)
  1. Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click the printer and select Properties.
  3. Look in the Web Services tab for your IP address if only three tabs appear.
