There`s a chance that the printhead hasn`t been installed properly or has been clogged with dried ink or debris. If this is the case, then cleaning your printhead may resolve the HP ink system error.
For the HP 932-933 ink-series printer error message “Ink System Failure” or “Printhead Failure” typically one of the ink cartridges could be low (or empty) on ink. It also possible that a poor seal is present between the cartridge and the internal printhead and the cartridge may need to be replaced with a new one.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer. Unplug the power cord from the power source. Wait 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
Incorrectly installed ink cartridges or low ink levels can result in poor print quality or errors. Check ink levels. From the printer control panel: Look for an ink drop, a cartridge icon, or an Ink Levels menu.
Something usually causes the error to occur and this is usually a failed microchip, out of date chip or interruption when installing a new cartridge and this will have to be rectified before continuing. Most problems are usually from the last cartridge inserted, so start by replacing that cartridge.
How can I override my HP ink cartridge? Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge slots 2-3 times until it firmly sits in place to override the HP ink cartridge error. After doing this, turn off the printer and remove all the cartridges.
HP Print and Scan Doctor: Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor. Select your printer, click Printer in the top menu bar, and then click Supply Levels. Printer software: Search Windows for your printer model name and number, and then click the printer name to open HP Printer Assistant. Click Estimated Ink Levels.
Just above the circuit board on most printer cartridges, you`ll find a small button. You`ve seen these tiny buttons before on cell phones, phone chargers, etc. This is your reset button, and the only way to get in there is either with a paper clip or the tip of a pen (which will leave a tiny ink smudge on the button).
1. Paper Jams. Paper jams are perhaps the most loathsome of all printer problems. While your knee-jerk reaction may be to rip the paper out in both frustration and an attempt to clear the block, we recommend some patience.
Clean the Cartridge Contacts: one of the most common reasons you might get a cartridge problem error when your cartridges are new and full is the contacts on the cartridge might be dirty or otherwise obscured from making good contact with the electronics in the printer head carriage.
To override HP ink cartridge error, remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge 2-3 times until it firmly seats in the slot. Then turn off the printer and remove all cartridges. Gently, with a dry lint-free cloth, wipe the contacts on the cartridge and carriage to remove any dirt or residue.
