From anywhere, to anywhere. It`s not just the HP DeskJet printer itself that`s versatile. With optional WiFi and smartphone connectivity, you can scan from wherever you are, right to your smartphone or tablet, and send to the printer.
Restart the printer and the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions. Restore Wi-Fi setup mode. Most printers with a touchscreen display or menu: Open the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
Install the ink cartridges and complete setup
Install the HP ink cartridges that came with your printer. Lower the output tray, and then open the ink cartridge access door. Remove the ink cartridge from its packaging. Hold the cartridge by its sides, and then remove the protective tape.
In Windows, search for and open Add a printer or scanner . Click Add a printer or scanner, and then wait for Windows to locate available printers. If your printer is found, click it, and then click Add device to complete the driver installation. If your printer is not found, continue with these steps.
To set up a printer for the first time, remove the printer from the box, connect the power cord, add printer to HP Smart, load paper, install the ink cartridges, and then align the printer. Note: If you are looking for the printer software, go to 123.hp.com.
Some HP printers have a built-in Bluetooth radio that supports pairing with a computer, mobile phone, or tablet to enable wireless printing. Turn on the Bluetooth radio on the printer. Depending on the model, press the Bluetooth button , or navigate to the Setup or Network menu to access Bluetooth settings.
Deskjet printing is a type of printing where the ink is deposited on paper through a desktop printer. The most common type of deskjet printer uses thermal inkjet technology, which heats small drops of ink and sprays them onto the paper. Deskjet printers can only print on regular paper.
Most modern printers will have Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth, or require you to download a printer app to your phone. This allows you to send a document from your phone to a printer wirelessly. If your printer has none of these features, you will need to connect your phone to the printer using a USB cable.

Connecting using a network key or PIN
If your printer doesn`t have WPS, you`ll probably have to enter a `network key` – a series of numbers and letters – into the printer using the function buttons and screen on the printer in order to establish the connection between your printer and router.
Restart your printer, router, and mobile device
Turn off the printer, and then turn it on again. Disconnect the power cable from the router, wait ten seconds, reconnect the cable, and then wait for the internet connection to complete. Turn off your phone or tablet, and then turn it on again.
From your PC, click Start, then Settings, and Devices. Choose Bluetooth and other Devices. If Bluetooth isn`t toggled to On, switch it to On. Then select Add Bluetooth or other device and follow the directions for pairing.

ANSWER : hi everyone. i have an hp ink advantage 5525 all-in-one. changed all cartridges as they were empty and when i tried to print i got blank pages. i gave a print order a couple times to find out what was going on and found out that yellow and magenta inks worked but not cyan and black. removed cartridges, clean and all many times and nothing happened. then i tried this youtu.be/f57jOGj-G5s and the print quality of magenta and yellow improved significantly but still no black or cyan at all. i can’t do the running water thing because the print head is not detachable. any suggestions?

ANSWER : I have just experienced a similar problem after cleaning out the ink build up without removing the outer case. The two lights are flashing and the ink cartridges end up on the far left after jumping back and fore a few times.

HP deskjet 460 Waste ink tank full
ANSWER : I worked fixing printers for 5 years for Verizon and some of the older printers were notorious for the waste receptacle filling and overflowing with ink. My solution was good old warm water. Remove the waste container and scoop out as much as you can with a small screwdriver, wiping the discard on a paper towel, then just run warm water from the faucet into the container till all the residue is removed. This is just water soluble ink folks, if you want to test it, scoop out a glob and dissolve it in warm water, its easy as pie. I never once bought a new ink discard reservoir. I just cleaned out my mobile 460 printer reservoir by the same method. There are no electrical connections its just all plastic.
