HP 1100, 1200 – While the printer is on, press and hold the Go button for 5 seconds. This will reset the printer.
It is caused by an HP printer option called Mopier Mode being enabled by default. This mode causes only 1 copy to be sent to the printer which should then use its internal memory to print the multiple copies. If there is no suitable internal memory only the 1 sent copy gets printed.

Most printers will stop working when they`re out of paper, ink or toner, or if the unit detects an issue with the ink or toner cartridge. When this occurs, you might receive an error message or notice blinking green or amber lights on your printer.
Turn the product on while you press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention light turns on. Release the Resume button. The Attention and Ready lights cycle while the product restores factory defaults.
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button at the same time for at least three seconds. The printer restarts and then the Wireless light starts blinking blue, indicating the printer is in Auto Wireless Connect (AWC) setup mode.

Ink Problem
ANSWER : Remove the color cartridge and do a “blot” test by pushing the heads on the bottom onto a paper towel. You should see all the colors. If not, then run hot tap water on the heads. Could be a bad ink cartridge if it still doesn’t work.
