Faulty power cords and connections are an uncommon but possible cause of a printer not turning on. Before suspecting a cord failure, ensure that there is power to the wall outlet and there are no conditions preventing the printer from turning on. Testing by substitution can confirm if a cord connection is the problem.
The Power button is blinking. This condition might be caused by an open ink cartridge access door, an empty input tray, a paper jam, or a carriage jam. An error message might display on your computer. If a `paper jam` error message displays on your computer, try the steps to clear the paper jam.
Turn on the printer

Connect the power cord between the printer and a grounded AC outlet. Move the power switch on the lower-right bottom of the printer into the On position, and then press and release the On/off button on the front of the printer.

Troubleshoot a blinking orange light on HP DeskJet.

It indicates firmware issues, paper jams, or improperly installed cartridges. Resolve it by performing a power reset of your printer. Take out the installed cartridges. Disconnect the device by removing the power cord from the outlet and the rear end.

Some of the most common printer problems that most of us have experienced include paper jamming, slow printing, uneven printing, and wrong colour output. If you use your printer frequently, we know how annoying it can be to have persisting problems with the printer.
From the User Manual for your laptop, the light on the power button has the following descriptions. On: The computer is on. Blinking: The computer is in the Sleep state. Off: The computer is off.
The Power light blinks at a steady interval when the printer is processing a print job. If the Power light blinks fast, the ink cartridge door might be open, or the printer might be in an error state. If an error message displays on the computer screen, follow the on-screen messages to resolve the issue.
Turn the printer off then back on. If the issue persists, turn the printer off, unplug the power cord and then wait at least three minutes before plugging the power cord back in and turning the printer back on. If the issue persists, ensure the product is running the latest firmware available from HP.com.
Power outages do not only cause downtime and delays. They may also damage your equipment, including your DTF transfer printer.
Turn on the laptop and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly until System Recovery starts. On the Choose an option screen, click “Troubleshoot.” Click “Reset this PC.”
Ink may have run out (The lamp on the ink tank flashes). If printing is in progress, you are recommended to stop printing, replace the ink tank, and then print again.
Printer detected ink out condition (The lamp on the ink tank flashes). Stop printing, replace the ink tank, and then print again. Be sure to replace the empty ink tank before resuming printing.
That error could be related to your payment method and your credit card information needs to be updated, or your printer has not been connected to the Internet for a while and the service has been unable to monitor prints and ink levels.
Open the Windows Control Panel and navigate to Hardware and Sound | Devices and Printers. This screen will show you all of the printers that are installed. Right-click on the printer that is experiencing problems, and then select the Troubleshoot command from the shortcut menu.
a misprint or misspelling in a text. The mix-up was due to a printing error.
The error indicates embedded controller has timed out waiting for the BIOS to return from system board initialization (end of POST). The blinks indicate system board failure on your PC.
Check the output of the AC adapter. If it is bad then it appears the battery has fully discharged and you need a new AC adapter.
The Wireless light blinks when the printer is attempting to connect to the wireless router or access point. Wait a few minutes, and then check the light again. If the Wireless light is on and steady, the printer is connected and you can stop troubleshooting.
A blue or green light indicates the printer is operating correctly, while a red light indicates an error has occurred. Indicator light color.
Error message yellow exclamation point blinking. The reason that light blinks is because: The output tray is closed or a scanning error has occurred.
Printer sleep mode

Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click the printer in question, then select Printer Preferences. Look for an option to disable sleep or time-out mode.

To restart a locked up computer, press and hold the Power button until the computer turns off. Wait a few seconds, and then press the power button to turn the computer back on.
Solution or work around: Turn the printer off then back on. If the issue persists, turn the printer off, unplug the power cord and then wait at least three minutes before plugging the power cord back in and turning the printer back on.
