A blinking Power light might indicate a `Fatal Error,” that requires a printer reset. Follow these steps to reset the printer. Without turning off the printer, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. Wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Press and release the On/off button on the front of the printer, and then move the power switch on the lower-right bottom of the printer into the Off position. caution: Do not turn off the printer if a cartridge is missing.
Printer sleep mode

Check that the printer does not have sleep mode enabled: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click the printer in question, then select Printer Preferences. Look for an option to disable sleep or time-out mode.

Some of the most common printer problems that most of us have experienced include paper jamming, slow printing, uneven printing, and wrong colour output. If you use your printer frequently, we know how annoying it can be to have persisting problems with the printer.
From the User Manual for your laptop, the light on the power button has the following descriptions. On: The computer is on. Blinking: The computer is in the Sleep state. Off: The computer is off.
The blinking power light indicates that the unit has a cartridge problem. There could be several reasons for this: 1. Incorrect, defective or swapped cartridges.
To do that find the 24pin of your power supply. Connect the GREEN wire with the adjacent BLACK wire and then plug it in. When the Fan starts spinning, your Power Supply seems to be working. If the Fan does not start spinning, your Power Supply is dead.
Disconnect all nonessential peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives. With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
Troubleshoot a blinking orange light on HP DeskJet.

It indicates firmware issues, paper jams, or improperly installed cartridges. Resolve it by performing a power reset of your printer. Take out the installed cartridges. Disconnect the device by removing the power cord from the outlet and the rear end.

You must press the power button to turn the printer back on.
