Your printer is connected to a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). When the printer goes through the printing cycle it uses a massive amount of electricity. During those few seconds of power usage, the UPS will beep indicating that it will not be able to sustain that power output for any period of time.
This could be because of dust particles in the printer. Follow these steps to clean the ADF`s pick rollers and separator pad. Gather the following materials: A clean, lint-free cloth, or any cloth that will not come apart or leave fibers.
HP 1100, 1200 – While the printer is on, press and hold the Go button for 5 seconds. This will reset the printer.
A beeping noise indicates your printer has encountered a “fail” condition. This fail condition should also display on the printer`s operator panel. The printer usually beeps in a pattern to indicate which hardware is failing.
When those warning beeps start up with no previous events, that usually means there has been a hardware failure. The string of beeps are a crude way of telling the user what has happened.

A beep code indicates that there is something wrong with the computer hardware. If anything was recently added or removed from the computer, more than likely the problem is with the new component. Removing or reseating the new hardware will typically resolve the issue.
Select a printer, and, at the top of the window, click Print server properties. From the Advanced tab, check or uncheck Show informational notifications for local printers and Show informational notifications for network printers. Click OK.
The UPS is NOT designed to power devices such as laser printers. Printers require a large amount of power that will most likely completely drain the UPS battery. When the battery power is low on the UPS, the alarm on the unit will sound, usually in the form of beeping.
Smears and smudges on the paper can be caused by dirt, dust, or toner accumulated on the rollers or transfer belt as it passes through the paper. Cleaning your printer, particularly the rollers, is one of the options for removing black markings from paper.
